Unigine Heaven Benchmark - Basic help
Leeghoofd replied to marco.is.not.80's topic in HWBOT Competitions
LOD via Supersampling or replay mode ? -
lo all, I did some testing yesterday to confirm the findings regarding XTU as there are way too many bugged outputs on the Bot. I tested a dozen of versions yesterday with the 9700K on H20 and Cascade on Windows 10 Findings: XTU performance is very inconsistent. Scoring 2900 one run, a rerun goes up to 3150. XTU performance output is too depending on the installed versions, as we already knew the 64Bit version 6.5.1.321 is easily outperforming any older versions. Till now no way to seperate them, Intel is working on it, but we loose too much time as 10K subs chime in weekly... The mix of 32 and 64 OS version requirements doesn't make things any easier It seems XTU loves Heat iso Cold, not being able to replicate a score done on H20 versus the setup under the cascade. Put the fans on low on the H20 setup and score even higher… sure... Especially the temperature issue is the last drop for me as headmoderator, Seriously if one overclocks and runs colder one achieves a lower score for the same processor speed. The Efficiency/MHz gets totally lost the colder one runs... I feel this point withdrawal is a thing that should have been done earlier, Sorry for those that will loose a heap of points but the current ranking doesn't reflect the true spirit of Overclocking. Fingers crossed that XTU 2.0 will be the next big thing… I've been a fan of XTU for quick stability testing, but the many bugs that slipped in over the years made it as one of the most unstable benchmarks we have implemented at HWBot.

Are you sure any of the settings get applied, to boost XTU higher mem freq and tight timigns is the way to go
-
because they don't have RTC bug and I don't want to wade through a gazillion subs that I don't need to check (normally)
-
Most important here is to check if playing with the busclock jields "bugged" scores and that the security feature of the benchmate can be thoroughly stressed by our community members...

If its not specifically mentioned in the stage rules , the FM link does not need to be valid (so LOD is allowed) -
I guess for AMD it will become mandatory if you want to run win8/8.1 or 10

OFFICIAL SUPPORT THREAD AT THIS LINK! K maybe not a bad idea to do a small competition with only allowing submissions done/monitored by Matt's latest release of the 0.8.1 release click here (click link to download) With version 0.8.0 Scores can be submitted straight via the Benchmate Tool (Internet required ofc) or via the screenshot (RESULT FOLDER) Thus manual submission via the compo page. Take note we are using Beta Benchmarks for the Compo!!! This implies we only can run the benchmarks currently integrated in the Benchmate suite: CB R11.5 CB R15 CB R20 Geekbench 3 & 4 SuperPi GPUPI 3.2 / 3.333 Ofcourse to thoroughly test out any bugs it might be better to opt for Windows 10 only. This compo might be a solid test to see if we can finally allow newcomers to bench on the latest Microsoft OS even with older Intel or any AMD hardware out there. Limitations to participate are to use= Pre-Skylake Intel hardware in the DDR2/3 Intel Compo SKylake and Newer Platforms in the DDR4 Intel Compo AMD platform. (For AMD I hope many Ryzen and Threadripper users will chime in) in the appropriate DDR2/3 and DDR4 Compo Any pointers or heads up? This new software is the thing OC needs to stay alive and kicking... Microsoft couldn't care less about us and AMD has a special way of approaching things too ? OFFICIAL SUPPORT THREAD AT THIS LINK!

You might have the one to destroy the ranking... I can't put over 1.585 volts on my setup.. Have this issue with 4930k too... Board or psu issues -

nope, we locked this version as it used a new prime95 version and it is no longer comparable with previous results.... we are working on a fix with Intel atm... -
That's what we will try
-
yes plz do so, well I already received an email from Intel , it will be possible to differentiate with this and older versions via just the savefile, hope we can fix this in a matter of days (hope not weeks)
-
I will spend some time with it, link me via pm plz... many will not be happy, I just want a comparative dBase, if not XTU will loose all points and will become pointless.... Don't want this to happen as version 2.0 is round the corner

sorry mate we updated the rules beginning of the month till we get a fix by Intel -
Its not bugged, it has a new Prime95 behind on 64bit... Sorry for you guys but it will not be allowed as it is a 64Bit XTU, A new rule imposed on the 01st of June to stop this... Intel is receiving feedback on the matter, so that we can make a new class for XTU 64Bit.... I thought the title made it pretty clear : LOCK...
