  1. From wich 5 are maybe relevant to the topic... is the XS post done ?
  2. it's your pot Roman, not the thermal paste that is excellent Very good CPU you got there man , 05 score can be higher with HT off ?
  3. join my club you back in the US of A Bill ?
  4. With that CPU you should be moved to Pro league too
  5. No overclock means spending time with my GF watching Desperate housewhores all nite... might not be financial benefit, but at least I have some time off from the couch duty
  6. Marc succeeded in reviving the HWBOT forum, good thing...
  7. Will Corsair finally manufacture some real high end dimms again ? Vengeance kits ran at 2600Mhz at the Tones OC event with tighter timings, then we could achieve with the GTX8s, sigh....
  8. Nice to see some people's frustrations getting re-exposed...
  9. If you could bench with all the GPUs and CPU 's of that wharehouse and post scores with all the hardware I then would agree with you Knopf. Do you have any idea how much time it takes to bin all these darn things. How many miles it takes driving from and to the shop, for sometimes nothing... most just think that it's easy and about money... So if I buy a 4000 dollar cherry picked CPU I'm still okay in the OC league ? Pro league to me is for guys that are tied to particular brands, that work for them or get free hardware to bench with...Almost all are talented/gifted with OC skills, hence why they get support from manufacturers. What do you do with eg the few that are at the top in the air/water league, most of them have their own pc shop. They have more hardware access too. Can you force them into the pro league and let them bench on LN2 ? In fact anyone that has a lot of hardware can or must move into the pro league ? Is it all about if it's free or not ? isn't it ? I'm not okay with the fact that someone can decide who has to go and who doesn't into the Pro league... you move to pro IF you are tied to a sponsor or brand affiliated. The rest is on free will, no matter how much warehouse access he or she has...
  10. nooooooooooooooo, enthousiast league only for you Andre
  11. Does binning imply you will find a golden sample ? nope Your chances are bigger, but that's where it ends... If you had the access to 200 CPUs ? Wouldn't you do it ? Does that mean you automatically have to be in pro league ? Maybe you just OC CPU on air/water ( SB case ) It will always be unfair Marc. I have access to maybe 250 CPUs, but hardly bench LN2, hardly/never ever any GPUs on LN2... Am I forced to be in pro league ? I have no issue with it, but I'll be dead last. Maybe it's my destiny to close the ranks lol... Does anyone, like Kenny stated, being able to buy a 4000 dollar cherry CPU need to be forced to pro league ? If you receive manufacturer support, bench with latest ES CPU's then it's straight Pro. I receive ES for reviews, but give them CPU's to PJ so he can bench on them as I have no time. Usually they go back to Intel after a few weeks... So in fact all reviewers here at HWBOT should be in Pro league too... It's a thin line, I don't see shop support (not talking about freebies) in the same way as getting free bench hardware from the manufacturer directly ( with maybe not real retail parts )
  12. just out of the RADAR sim after 3 hours, pretty braindead Once you get into the 40 league we will talk again, young radical ! Stummie knows what I'm talking about
  13. Send the blue ones to me CN I'll spray paint them in barbie pink for Hellboy Roger
  14. Henry always picks on the weak ones We all want 2800C10 at least... funnily enough legitreviews already tested the 2800C11 or C12 dimms... kindda confusing on the first page as they list C11
