divide countries ? what are you talking about... ? It's all about organising and getting people to work together... FYI Massman and I continued to bench on LN2 with the FX8150... if we had done one run at 6.9 we would have easily nailed 20K with the 4 cards on air... efficiency was über... But we didn't do a full run nor would have submitted as people like you would flame about the lended cards... and FYI our own GTX580 cards do better clocks on the rams then them Extreme models...

If only the GTX8 would be so cool then these Can't figure out them dimms.... -
Apparently this test score has been reported, my dear friend below are the rules : Any online UCBench2011 submission must comply to the following rules: - default UCBench2011 settings - have a valid screenshot (see example below): clearly show ucbench dos box (with result), ucbench launch application, processor and memory settings in CPU-Z ...Suppose no link required then... I have the text file... but as it wasn't required to up as with the Country cup I saw no need to do it...

:celebration: Thank you for posting this !! you rock :nana: This is what it is all about... !! My kids are hypnotised by it, spend days with it... but was not clever enough to find them little things that made it fly...

looks like a very promising cpu... board didn't go high enough ( only one working strap ) with the FSB and ram ratio selected... and not enough LN2 to start messing with stuff... only a few runs possible... At least I have a better CPU then Kenny !!! now I need a 7ghz CPU to kill his 8xxx series scores
-
That I get a far higher score with the higher uncore speeds (tested in superpi32m and AIDAI64) If it proves if the rams are really at that speed that is another thing. I leave that for the pros... Have to look for the screenshots on the USB key, forgot to up them

Well let's take belgium with 5-10 active overclockers, small country... advantage maybe easier to get together... Far harder to get 5 super scores in... ask Pt1t how many times I spammed him on MSN to get a score done... Take USA, what maybe 500-1000 active overclockers ? How many in Canada ? If those countries can't bring 5 high scores together then who can... ? Main issue in my humble point of view is : Coz there aren't big prices concerned some of the big boys don't compete or don't even bother to defend their national flag... I've spend cash on a 2nd hand 890X board, A75 board, and i7 860 CPU... just for this compo... I ripped apart my dad's pc to have access to the board and CPU... Think it's a bit narrow minded to mainly focus on the distance between overclockers. it takes me a 4 hour drive to get to my parents and back. Also that wharehouse overclocker comments ... Honestly would you refuse if a shop borrowed you a CPU or a few GPU's that a brand wants to get exposure for ? Or you have access to gear as a reviewer ? Wouldn't you use it ? If you refuse it coz it's unfair, good for you. I have a wife kids, 5 goldfish, 2 rabbits and a cat to feed... If I can save money in any way I'll do it... LN2 is already more than expensive enough here... It all takes planning, in fact quick planning who has got what gear available, access to LN2, etc... We had a good thread from day one of the competition at Madshrimps... XS was a bit slow at first... Mainly we all pretested stuff (if possible) and just came together coz we only have 2 LN2 dewars. If we all had our own dewars it might have been more of a individual benching session... If the polish, greeks, russians can do teamsessions, so can you... it isn't required to get everybody in the same room is it ? ...just my 2 cents....

I tested the different uncores and they seem correctly in balance...

Retesting atm : X58 OC board 990X Corsair GTX2 1) with triple channel it doesn't work : no post 2) Dual channel I can boot at a 1:1 ratio uncore ram speed, not lower... will provide screenies later on... testing 133 bclock 2133 ram divider

Think the skill of going with 4 LN2 cards requires a bit more points... seems like a tough benchmark/setup to get right... as we see some flawed scores , that could have been far better at the ran speeds... Pj is cracking 19.2K right now with just 6.75Ghz and 4 X GTX580 cards. So hopefully 20K is possible with a bit more CPU ooomph... -
I was surprised too Sam when I could select them dividers... since my CPU is not stellar in uncore ( caps at 4.2 Ghz under LN2 lol ) I opted to go for this divider... board X58 OC... normal uncore for these speeds should be 4.1Ghz...

Brilliant PCM7 finds : we had a 200 webpage trick, but far from legal to be applied... so we skipped it... w ehad ram cache on win7, but our programs didn't work for Win8. Huge storage raid controller 8 SSDs, but this benchmark scales with jack shit... besides raw cpu power and software tricks It's totally anti hardware overclocking minded lol. We had an idea about virtu ! But we wanted to finish this nite with a 19K run on FX for the boys of Tones webshop. So we are still benching right now... Congratz again to all, I had a blast, hopefully so did you ! -
