  1. Nearly all achievements are currently broken so you're not alone. They say they'll fix them by ... ehr, eventually
  2. if we started talking about "hwbot rules" - I don't think that unreleased hardware is allowed for points, no matter who's the bencher (OC or Pro PC) ... or am I wrong ? ... or who cares?
  3. LOL, cedarmills are oficially dead ... thanks macci for stopping me from further waste of my money
  4. I noticed those issues to appear on my UD3P only when you're really pushing the CPU close to its max (within <50MHz of it). In which case yes - the stability of same settings may vary depending on the weather conditions on Jupiter, that's why I kept my CPU freqs so conservative. Here's my 1125 6-10-7 32M screen by the way.
  5. cyclone, it's not difficult with the right type of PSC (_ or XE_ methinks). I did 32M at 1125 6-10-7 and the only thing slowing me down was CPU's BCLK wall.
  6. I don't know which VRM the M2F uses, but those are usually cooled through the PCB so you're better off with just a small fan pointing at them.
  7. They list everything down to keyboard and mouse and have nothing on monitor? Fugger tweaking FTW
  8. IMO, his answers do not suggest confidence, especially the "single-threaded" bit
  9. http://forum.canardpc.com/threads/60228-Change-in-validation-checks-for-very-high-overclocking this ?
  10. you use ES of current-gen CPUs, by Massman rules you must go into pro OC
  11. didn't know that "silent backup" method annoys you so much ... great! ... will take note and use it in the future
  12. is it really possible to set multiplier to x11 on ASUS? (iirc, wasn't possible on Gigabutt)
  13. Gigabyte boards do have a bad reputation of killing CPUs. But you were asking for trouble yourself - running 1.65 vcore with ambient cooling
  14. that's the main point I'm trying to make, compare it with graphic cards.Every manufacturer works their solution around the same chip and competes with others ... but why in case with graphic cards the ranks are "by the base chip" and with motherboards they're "by each individual solution" ?
  15. I came up with a random thought that it'd be better to rank Reference Clock submissions not my mainboard model like now, but by chipset. My arguments: 1) There are no individual rankings for different graphic card models (GTX580 Matrix, GTX580 Lightning ...) nor memory models (Geil DDR3-2133, Geil DDR3-2000 ...), why are mainboards different? 2) By merging multiple P55 or P67 categories into one, pushing reference clock will be more rewarding in terms of hardware points if you're really pushing it. What do others think? (please vote and/or post)
