Up for sale are two DDR4 review samples that I don't need. 1) 2x4GB Geil Dragon DDR4-3000 CL14 (GWW48GB3000C14DC). The kit needs around 1.67V for 32M at 1500 11-14-14 and around 1.62V for 32M at 1600 12-15-15. SOLD 2) 2x8GB Kingston HyperX Savage DDR4-2800 CL14 (HX428C14SBK2/16). The kit needs around 1.67V for 32M at 1500 11-14-14 and around 1.44V for 32M at 1600 13-15-15. I don't know if it's the kit or the board, but handling was not easy. Asking 110 Euros + shipping. 3200C16 Ripjaws4 sold.

Up for sale are two 2x4GB G.Skill DDR4 memory kits that I purchased less than 24 hrs from now, purely for self-educational purposes. 1) First up, 3000 15-15-15 Ripjaws V. The kit is based on Samsung 4Gbit E-die and needs around 1.96V for 1800 CL11 and 1.60V for 1800 CL13 on my MSI Gaming M7 board. Comes with original packaging, can also include a copy of shop receipt if you like. Asking 65 Euros + shipping. 2) Then we have a set of 3200 16-16-16 Ripjaws 4. This kit is the second best out of six E-die kits that I tested so far, needs around 1.88V to do 32M at 1800 11-18-18 on my MSI Gaming M7 board (keeping the best one to myself, obviously). Comes with original packaging, can also include a copy of shop receipt if you like. SOLD Shipping price varies between 5 and 11 Euros worldwide.

Try an older BIOS version. I guess they changed something in September/October, 1T doesn't work for me either with all the new Gaming M7 BIOS versions.

Not anymore

I ran high memory voltages (2.5V+ DDR3) with every generation of Intel's IMC without any signs of damage to either memory or the processor. So I see no reason to think that things are going to be different with Skylake.

I haven't yet seen any Samsung-based Kingston DDR4. Samsung has always been a rare sight on Kingston for business reasons so it's highly unlikely that we will get retail E-die HyperX.

My kit scales up to 2.2V on air. More I can't set in board's BIOS.

On Skylake 32M times can vary by more than 5 seconds without you touching any of the settings. So I wouldn't refer to 32M times as a sort of reliable performance comparison. Have you tried raising tRCD/tRP to 21 or 22?From my experience on E-die, tRCD and tRP responds to voltage far more than what we've seen on any generation of Samsung, DDR3 or DDR4.

What memory multipliers are available with these i3 (and locked Skylake in general)?

I've tested 3466C16 TridentZ and 3600C17 RipjawsV today, both were D-die. So you have to be really lucky to get E-die.

Yes. Can even do an HCI Memtest at DDR4-3600 CL11 CL10 boots but 2.20V is not enough.

Because result reliability of XP is crap with newer platforms (Skylake especially). I can run same settings 5 times in a row with/without in-between rebooting and get results that are 4+ seconds apart.

You need to press F5 right after windows setup loads for the first time (the bit before formatting drives) and select MPS Multiprocessor mode.

2666C15 1.2V is actually the hardest spec in Kingston's current retail range.
