  1. Some tests with open window: SuperPI 32M @ 5.0GHz / 4.8GHz @ 1.33V HwbotPrime @ 5.0GHz / 4.8GHz @ 1.37-1.38V Cinebench R15 @ 5.0GHz / 4.8GHz @ 1.41V
  2. https://www.cyberport.de/?DEEP=2310-1E4&APID=14 Listed in Germany. At 279€ is very affordable.
  3. Bump, added more information on the CPU and reduced the price.
  4. What about the current hardware 2-pointers? Hwbot prime #20 gets too many points, IMO. You probably assumed that the benchmark score scales near-linear with CPU overclock, which it doesn't.
  5. Is this the first ever online contest where XA has failed to reach the finals?
  6. Up for sale is a Core i7-6700K CPU. The CPU originates from Caseking and is covered by the OC-Warranty up to 4.7GHz 24/7 stable with ambient cooling. Delidding is also covered by the warranty on this particular chip (extra feature added at checkout), as long as there is no physical damage (as of now there is none). The paste between IHS and the die has been replaced by Gelid GC-Extreme (Kryonaut is not really suitable for long-term ambient use). Comes as tray with no box or cooler. Here are "watercooled" results from its previous owner: Prime95 (1344K) @ 4.5GHz / 4.0GHz @ 1.152V Prime95 (1344K) @ 4.8GHz / 4.0GHz @ 1.296V Prime95 (1344K) @ 4.9GHz / 4.0GHz @ 1.360V I wasn't able to reproduce any of results above because a) I'm using a different board and b) my cooling does not idle at sub-ambient temps. Here are my results: Prime95 (1344K) @ 4.5GHz / 4.1GHz @ 1.20V Cinebench R15 @ 4.8GHz / 4.5GHz @ 1.30V SuperPI 32M @ 5.0GHz / 4.8GHz @ 1.36V SuperPI 32M @ 5.0GHz / 5.0GHz @ 1.39V HwbotPrime @ 5.0GHz / 4.8GHz @ 1.39-1.40V Asking 500 Euros. The price includes worldwide shipping. IBAN banktransfer is my preferred method of payment, but Paypal is also possible if buyer is to take care of the fees.
  7. Do I get it right that an overclocker with 9001 pts but no top 3 competition finishes will end up in 4th league?
  8. Some progress from MSI on B-die clocks: (it's worth to note that all setup components are retail, bought with own money, no vendor samples)
  9. It's not really a BIOS problem, you might simple not be pushing enough SA (most old/original Haswell chips need 1.25+) or having the ODT issue (solvable by rebooting without entering the BIOS).
  10. Bump, another set of Tridents added.
  11. Z97 OCF and Dominators pending..
  12. Up for sale is some hardware that I don't need. 1. ASRock Z97 OC Formula. This is an OCF that I bought from Radi in December 2015. The board has vaseline all over the PCB so I guess it was used on cold before. As for myself, I only used the board for CPU and RAM binning on air, for which it worked flawless. SOLD. 2. 3x2GB Corsair Dominator GT 2000C8. I bought this kit from Gigelz in Ferbuary 2016 to replace my damaged GTX2. It's a kit of exceptional quality, far better than any similarly-specced kit that I've seen before. The sticks do 1000MHz 6-7-6 at 1.90V in triple with X58 and 1100MHz 7-7-x at 1.76-1.80V individually with the Z97 OCF above. I'm selling them only because I was able to find an even better replacement in form of 2000C7 Dominators. SOLD. 3. 2x8GB G.Skill RipjawsV 3000C14. This kit is a part of my project to find decent B-die among lower G.Skill bins. Is the best clocking 3000C14 amongst multiple tested, can do 1933MHz 12-12-12 at 1.90-1.91V and 2066MHz 13-13-13 at 1.94-1.95V. SOLD. Shipping prices vary on your location and tracking/insurance preferences. For mems it would be between 5 and 15 Euros, for the board between 15 and 30 Euros. My preferred method of payment is IBAN banktransfer, I also accept PayPal if you take care of the possible fees.
  13. Speaking seriously, anyone (myself included) with right connections in the hosting/datacenter industry could easily afford to run the site/forum/database out of his own pocket and keep it vendor/ad-free. However, I imagine that the site's current owners would ask a pretty penny (6-7 figures estimated) just "for the brand" making the takeover financially infeasible for any enthusiastic individual or community.
  14. Daniel is one of the very few people in the world who can bench, drink and smoke for 4 days straight and not give a single fuÑk about it. Respect! (definitely not Dutch roots )
  15. As soon as you start awarding cooling-based points, people will start coming up with 6GHz watercooled XTU Skylakes.
  16. 5000 posts? Is M.Beier on the chat?
