  1. During my short PSC experience with MPower I learned one thing - after each hard crash it's best to fully reflash the BIOS otherwise board starts spitting '55' out on random. Other than that, the experience was exactly the same as, say, on ASUS. By the way, there is no such thing as new stepping. E1/L1 is just the way new CPU-Z (from 1.64 up, I reckon) detects IB chips.
  2. Of course it "is", when you're sitting one spot away from elimination
  3. Does it also mean that with 1.45V the CPU will bench at, say, 6.2-6.3GHz or this 'theory' is only good for 0.1s suicide screens?
  4. Not sure if a Pentium can be made hot enough for conclusive (in terms of serious benching) results ... but good luck nevertheless.
  5. Ever since the forum URL has changed from hwbot.org/forum/* to forum.hwbot.org/*, the links from result discussion threads to the actual results at the top of the page are broken. Example: this thread has this link, which does not work.
  6. Fire Vadim, I had/seen some CPUs close to yours (5628B + 2L..): C352 5628B246 / 2L619388A0523 = 5175 air, 7650 LN2 C356 5628B331 / 2L619029A0565 = 5350 air, 7750 LN2 C352 5628B373 / 2L620454A0417 = 5125 air C352 5628B373 / 2L620458A1401 = 5325 air C352 5628B426 / 2L619397A0358 = 5375 air, 7750 LN2 so I would say your chip should do 7600-7800, unless you're lucky/unlucky
  7. Those who bought them while they were available obviously don't sit on them
  8. Get a CPUz/canardpc account and keep the results unpublished.People can still see the .png (if they do the manual dump and check screenshots one by one) but they will not know the name/board/mem (=details) until it's published.
  9. waiting for ASRock Z87 OC Hero
  10. Looks not bad. Only potential problem I see is scalability with lower resolutions, if my monitor is 1024x768 then I will barely be able to see those letters (just like with current MSI BIOSes).
  11. So if I buy a board and pour a glass of water on it running and "for some reason" it dies - that's a legit RMA case now, right?
  12. BD must be very light on stability (due to low bandwidth, I guess) if you managed to screen 1500+ tRCD 10. Even with a good kit (1200+ tRCD 10 on air) that would require a fair bit of luck.
  13. lol, let's see how long this lasts
  14. From what I remember, Phillipines' chips were best. Try searching for either E0 (SL7PK, SL88G) or G1 (SL8JX).
  15. Wow, a 478 chip in a 775 board, looks very interesting. If you're in it for raw freqs, try 2.8/133 Prescotts
  16. Which batch is it? I tested a dozen of 33xxA Costa Ricas but none could even come close to 4900.
  17. Kingston were dumb enough to unload all their PSC via valueRAM, this is why they binned BDBG so much. Good BDBG like ones you can find on 2333C9 and sometimes 2250C9 can be interesting, but in no way a match for good PSC.
