  1. This is where I bought last time: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360433118300?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 Couldn't find any other affordable probes which can go down to -196. Keep in mind that these are kind of low quality and every piece reads temperature differently, but still usable for LN2. You cac bin them if you buy several PS: Oh, nevermind... I misread the title (facepalm)
  2. Yes, here it is: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/30576042/2A85XUP4.F3i I have it from the last CountryCup. Noticed other guys were running that version, but we couldn't find it anywhere, so I asked Massman and he was nice to share it. Honestly I didn't see any difference in performance. By the way, I don't even know what is CLK Mux and what it is related with
  3. Is the limit still the same on LN2? I've never used more than 1.4V on LN2, because it didn't seem to help with NCLK.
  4. Damn it. Just realized that the videos are not correct. I'm running Pi on second core from the first module and I didn't show its frequency. This means another video...
  5. Generally, 890FX boards are the way to go, but there are some exceptions. 990 boards are optimized for Bulldozer/Vishera. While it may not slow you down in cinebench, it definitely will in pi/pifast.
  6. Mine does 6.55-6.6 for Pi 1M, so it's not that good, but it's an old chip that I used 24/7 before and I have no other cpu for this category. It has a great IMC though. All CPUs I have are bought retail from the store. If I want to bin a certain model, I have to do it the hard way - buy a cpu or 2 (depending on the price), test, sell rejects, buy another cpu next month and so on...
  7. What backup with SS cooling? No, I always upload my highest score at the time. If I had LN2 result, I'd have uploaded it. This CPU was/is great on air/water, but doesn't scale very good with LN2 temps.
  8. Video 1 - The end of a normal run, slightly slower than my previous results. Btw I have 18:400 somewhere on the ssd. Not sure if you can see something. Had to compress both videos and Youtube compressed them further. This video also shows that "One does not simply restart a Gigabyte board" Video 2 - full run, bad wazza and cpuz opened all the time. 3 seconds slower.
  9. Turbo is disabled. Will make a video of a whole run if my camera battery is up to it.
  10. What tWCL are you running? I will check later if everything with the frequency is correct, maybe make a video too. I'm gaining (at least) 2 seconds from wazza. XP is tweaked like I always do for 32M. I can't run 1300MHz at all. Not sure if the board or IMC.
  11. Ok, I failed. Was booting @ 400+ FSB on a DDR3 board, but once freezed I can't reach 400 and the cpu is tested for 440+.
  12. Same here, hope I will have LN2 for couple of runs. Anyway, CB is gonna be fun. Others are playing with Haswell, we're playing with single-core Semprons
  13. Hehe Preparing the setup for freezing...on another board
  14. You're completely right http://hwbot.org/submission/2384859_i.nfrar.ed_superpi___32m_a10_5800k_18min_12sec_875ms Got XP working and properly tweaked. What I did is to install it on AHCI mode vs IDE before. Does it really make so big difference? Couldn't beat you on 7 though, got around 18:22 on same settings as above screenshot.
  15. Nice! Mine will, considering how lucky I'm lately...
  16. My old score from January - 6min 18sec 500ms http://hwbot.org/submission/2384926_i.nfrar.ed_superpi___32m_core_i7_3770k_6min_18sec_500ms
  17. Not sure, but for such competitions it might be a good idea to have the actual scores hidden and show the current standings only. So, e.g I upload a 32M score, the bot accepts it and ranks it against the other submissions in the comp, then I'm ranked 3rd in the current standing, but I don't know what scores other people have, neither the frequency/hardware used. Scores will be revealed e.g. 2 hours before the end. Then all these submissions will be shown in global/hardware rankings, too.
  18. Some improvement http://hwbot.org/submission/2384859_i.nfrar.ed_superpi___32m_a10_5800k_18min_24sec_341ms
  19. Finally a proper run without tweaks and wazza. LSC only.
  20. Mainboard info is blurred on the left, but still visible on the badge. Not that we don't know which board had been used, lol.
  21. 240 is a bit too much, considering there will be a shipping cost as well. Germany seems a better option. Anyway, many thanks for the offer! 3 people offered me boards so far and I'm waiting for prices, so I can decide which one I want. No matter which offer I choose, I'm glad that people want to help me get one of these boards. That's the community spirit .
  22. Even if I consider myself as "ok" pi32 tweaker, I'm currently many seconds behind. A lot to learn for Trinity, unless it's some stupid thing that slows things down. Far away from froxic too, eventhough his cpu is not at 5GHz. PS: Found the reason - it's called XP. Win7 is so much faster at least on my board. My cpu is an ultra high leakage part and while it was possible to run 5GHz on XP, it's not the same on 7, so I'll probably have to get the SS running.
  23. Great! And it's unusual for Thuban to scale up to 1.92V.
  24. Since I don't have a working Z77 board at the moment, it seems a good idea to bring the Trinity out of the closet .
  25. Still searching.
