did you try bios patcher by rom.by?
Nope
As terraraptor says:http://www.rom.by/articles/BP/index_english.htm
There is also a nice thread at K6plus:
http://www.k6plus.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2044&start=15
Time to read and give it a try.
Thank you both.

Starting this thread to share grief and pain
about legendary socket A boards that gone ashtray.
My biggest loss so far.
A DFI Ultra-B gone dead after using an XPM-2000+ low voltage cpu.
Booted once , got into bios , load optimized defaults, save & exit =>end of story.
Runner-up loss
ABIT NF7-S v2.0 gone dead after testing max mem. overclock on a pair o D43's

I cant accept , that there is not a proper bios tool available , to import microcode to an early phoenix-award bioses.
There has to be a solution.
I tried 2 versions of the award bios flash tool ... but no go.
-
Working on it.
I'm getting close for a 9 out of ten grade.
-
I am out of luck
The same bios checksum error.
-
Good score George , but there's room for improvement , i'll pm you about it.
-
The score is not good , cause it has a very low nature.
But ... the board is a beauty !!!
Abit Casper Edition ?
-
Is this case settled ?
-
Looking for an older version of systeminfo if anyone has it.
Prefer 4.24 or 4.25
Hotmailed the first one.
-
Hmmm ....
-
Can anybody explain all ***8211; and ***8217;? It's not in the original text
If you mean the character problem (not showing correct) it's probably a forum problem.
It's already been reported.

Incredible main! Well done kotori san
Anyway for old school cup some days ago i read that only slo1 CPU are available! Coppermine is 370
This is a perfectly legit result.
The cpu is a slot-1 coppemine core.
Perhaps you misundestood something.
-
Congrats for a great result.
An other legendary ABIT board !!!

I guess , this is not valid either (for the same reasons as above).
Plus the "Time measuring" alert msg.
Still waiting for this one.

Testing 1-2 , 1-2

The 65 microcode is for ?

Hi everybody.
I need to fully revive an old Tualatin board.
It's an Iwill BD133u (Intel 815).
Picked up from scrap , in a bad condition.
Repaired some scratches on pcb and insulated with nail-polish.
Changed all leaking capacitors and the board is fully working again.
Now i need to optimize it's bios.
The board has problems operating with tB1 stepping cpu's. (CPUID : 06B4h).
It probably doesnt have the cpu microcode for it.
The bios chip is a Phoenix D686 , with bios version BDU1026 in it.
I need help to implement the cpu microcode into that bios.
Looking for the bios tools or a person that can do it.
Attached here is the bios of this board.
-
All my 3 DFI Ultra-B can do at least 268-270MHz DC 1:1. 282 will be hard though.
Aha
That's why this board has vanished from ebay ?
Need to revive a Tualatin board
