  1. Hardware is in Germany. Boards will be shipped with CPU or socket protector installed. Payment preferably with paypal friends. - Asus Maximus VII Impact; fully working in very good shape, in box, all acessories included. 140 EUR + shipping - Gskill OC 2019 RGB single rank B-die A2; bought on hwbot from alex_ro; seems to not like more than 1950mV, does 2066 c12 cr1 spi32 and did 2400 c14 cr2 spi32 with M11A_2; is very nice to work with and has no quirks i know of; trident heatspreaders are glued onto pcb on the chip side with double sided tape slightly thicker than the chips. thermal paste between heatsinks and chips, but no pressure on chips. silicone pad on non-chip side. grinded small indentations into heatsink where the rgb-leds are and covered them with electrical tape. so the heatsinks are attached to the pcb only and can be carefully removed without the danger of ripping off the chips. heating them up before is advised though. 200 EUR + shipping
  2. Board is in Germany. Bought it used a while ago. As far as I can tell, it has never seen cold and the pins have never been bent. I used it daily for a while and benched it a few times on air. Never found something that does not work. Once got a fitting X58 Classy I/O-shield shipped for free from EVGA Germany but sold that with an X58 Classified. Really liked using it but I want to get rid of stuff and hope that someone else has some space left in a drawer and fully appreciates this board. I really don't want it to be killed by some ham-fisted ln2 bencher. I would like to avoid shipping to outside of the EU and would like to get 250 EUR shipped for it.
  3. I often would like to know, how well binned a certain piece of hardware is. It would be nice if it became common to add some information about the amount of binning that was done to get hold of the chips.
  4. mach ich ?️‍♂️ Does anyone have an opinion or information about OCZ Platinum 3x2GB with 2000 8-9-8 @ 1.65 V
  5. Yes, when it comes to the Blades, its all about looks and rarity for me. OCZ always had great design imo and some heat sinks are high quality stuff. I.e. those ReaperX with flat heat pipes directly touching the chips. Also they have a rated speed of 1333 6-5-5 ?‍♂️
  6. The only way to know for sure, is to remove the heat spreader and check the number, i guess.
  7. what does the X stand for? Are not all PSC created equal? ?
  8. what kit do you have exactly?
  9. i do not necessarily plan to bench them (the really fast ones will not be for sale or affordable anyway). Just think that they are the nicest DDR3 kits out there and would like to own a dual or triple channel kit.
  10. Image is a screenshot from the MSI livestream for new B550 boards. There are no pins of the DIMM slots visible on the back of the board. Does anyone have an expert opinion on this (extra costs, benefits) ? As far as have seen, it is the only AM4 board with this feature. The Crosshair Impact and X570I Aorus do not have it.
  11. Okay. You changed my opinion. I was not aware of the extreme measures, that are used to "enhance" ambient coolers.
  12. but not ambient/not ambient edit: i don't see the point in separating ambient cooler types
  13. I don't want to buy subzero cooling but like to OC and like to compare my scores against other ambient scores. Sometimes it's interesting to see subzero scores too. Points and leagues are not really interesting for me, because i will only bench what i want and when i want. As long as there are points, there are spam submissions that no one is interested in, just for the sake of someone getting some points. Those are, what annoys me most about hwbot. I would find it very useful to be able to filter scores by ambient/not ambient. Don't care if there are separate point systems, but it would be nice if hwbot could display an ambient ranking table. I think that's a compromise, even the most hardcore LN2 addict can live with. cheers
  14. i was wrong about 7-6-6. actually ran them with 7-6-6 (edit) 7-7-6. thanks for the information.
  15. Got a new Dominator GT 2000c888 v2.1 kit (don't know how to check, if they are really hypers. but should be) and that runs about 925 7-6-6 with i3 550 on M3F. It doesn't like voltage over 1.7 and gets weirdly unstable at higher clocks. Maybe the board sets some timings wrong? I didn't try for long. That said, pretty much any other ram is running 1000+ and i get higher Maxxmem scores with PSC.
  16. did you test PSC on the Board as well? I can't get more than 810 with PSC with my H55M-D2H Edit: now i can get more than 810
  17. @ground1556 should be caused by board/bios then? Or am i missing something? Until now, i only tested the Clarkdales with my H55M-D2H. Edit: It seems to be a board/bios thing. In a short session, the M3F took PSC to 1000 without any problem. Edit 2: H55M-D2H is now also able to do higher mem speeds. Just needed some VTT to become unlocked.
  18. I'm testing a few i3 550 and some new ram. with every chip, i hit a solid wall at 810 ram speed. This is with g.skill PSCs as well as my OCZ 2000c9 kit (which is probably PSC?!). Did you ever find out what this is all about? There are some sumbissions with ram at close to 1000... Edit: more IMC voltage solved the problem
  19. Delta fans in push-pull on a decent water loop is what i'd consider a relatively cheap and efficient ambient solution. What radiator size to choose, depends on money, space and the parts you want to cool.
