Maybe the right place to mention this, maybe not. If ES are better than retail, HWB better make sure the ES rules are highlighted AND ENFORCED. They have NOT been properly enforced for the best part of a year. I don't know what the ES rules are now that the Pro Cup is here. EDIT: just checked. They are out of date and there is (I think) a word missing that completely changes what is allowed.

Thanks guys! I bought it for the FM/ Galaxy competition.....and figured it'd be dumb to have an expensive card for only 3 results I *guess* everyone elses MHz are higher than shown in GPU-Z or whatever. Either that, or my efficiency sucks horrifically.

nVidia and Win 7 frequently bugs in 3D03 "just one of those things" It's not nearly so bad with Fermi & Kepler

If it affects all users and all cards equally, there is not a problem It levels the playing field better than any rule that HWB can come up with and it shows that it IS possible to have a fixed MHz challenge that people cannot cheat I see the positives sometimes

Why is it not good for the community? Fermi is out of production. Who *REALLY* cares about people who overclock old cards? This bug/feature limits OC (good for nVidia) and makes Kepler look better (good for nVidia)

Oh, FINALLY My find is being taken seriously. It is this simple: If someone uses FERMI SILICON with nVidia 300-series drivers, thery are capped at 999MHz core. I say Fermi SILICON because the GT630 uses GF108. Because it is 6-series, it needs 300-series drivers- so the MHz cap is there. OLDER cards- GT2xx are NOT affected. It is Fermi ONLY.
