  1. Self-indulgent bit: I decided to bench this GTX670 in more than just 3DMark. Before: After: If the GPU vendor wants me to update all these results with their brand, they can send me a PM. Ice Storm, single VGA. ALL-OUT HWBot World Record: http://www.hwbot.org/benchmark/3dmark_-_ice_storm/
  2. A link speaks 1000 words: http://www.3dmark.com/competitions/galaxy-2013/

    [FS] 6.7GHz? 3770K

Bump! Price increase to £450. Derp. April Fool. Just a bump
  4. At this exact and precise moment: Never heard it before. So far, so good
  5. Maybe this will be fixed in the future, but for now: If you submit a 3DMark result to Futuremark..... that is your one and ONLY shot with that particular save file. If you submit it to FM, decide to delete it then change your mind..... tough. If you submit a result, just keep it in your account.
  6. Even with a G92 card? *so far* I have only been MHz limited with Fermi cards + 300-series drivers.
  7. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/537552/overclocking/oc-limitation-since-314-07-whql/ Please can someone do some driver testing and add some info to comfirm or deny this? ***maybe*** nVidia aren't finished limiting MHz for their cards.
  8. Yea, this annoys me a little bit as well. "Damn.... that's great efficiency for <6MHz"
  9. That is AWESOME. Thanks Roman!!!! I'd like to add some info for readers..... there is more to consider than just thermal conduction at a given temperature..... you will also need to consider the characteristics of the component and the benchmarks you will be running. For example: G80. Hot silicon, with a coldbug and benchmarks with short periods of low-load in-between tests. The best thermal paste for them is a SLOWER one so the card does not crap out Using Romans table, a good paste for this situation can still be picked
  10. I hope people understand this.....
  11. That looks like a GREAT lineup! Those "new benchers" are in for a treat, getting hints & tips off those guys
  12. Benched under LN2 3 times, PCB and heatsink in immaculate condition. I've left the vCore mod and voltage readpoints attached, will remove if the buyer wants. The BIOS has been flashed to the unlocked version, which is unstable on the stock cooler because the stock MHz are too high. If the buyer will be freezing the card, i'll leave the unlocked BIOS. If not, I will replace it with the original. This is the only Kepler card i've had, so I don't know much about squeezing the best out of them. I thought the core was a bit average on air/water, but seems ok under LN2 (mV = MHz, but only tested to 1.47v) Memory is nice- it maxxes out nVidiaInspector at stock voltage. Comes in retail box with accessories + nVidia game vouchers (unused, of course) Price edit already: they've just dropped. GARGH! £280 shipped.

  14. (said every Ebay user ever)
  15. Lookin good!!
  16. What was the problem?
  17. Which error do you get? Because you mentioned the full GPU name...... all 7970 are just 7970. There is only one category for them
  18. Very nicely done! LOL you ruined Vince' day Congrats!!

    [FS] 6.7GHz? 3770K

For sale, works fine. 1333MHz IMC I bought this as a 6.7GHz (tested SPi1M) chip and I trust the seller, but I never got 6.7GHz from it. I mostly blame my lack of Ivy skill, but I suspect my board held me back too. 5GHz 32M 2C/2T at 1.26v IIRC CBB -145. £350 shipped.
  20. This. Thankyou to MSI for all the effort they've made over the years!
