Yes, fully agree, but it takes time and money, something complicated Pro, also known yougpro, will be a moderator direct (or better judge) for PCMark'05, is one of the most knowledgeable people of this benchmark, off course the rest of the moderators we will help
-
Are you shure of this ? Moose83 please, explain What has happened to the tricks you consult with staff Can you explain this ? Thank you
-
Also Audio Compression like TE and the others , thats right ? For example , upload yesterday http://hwbot.org/submission/2321638_gluvocio_pcmark_2005_core_2_e8400_(3.0ghz)_76349_marks http://hwbot.org/submission/2321571_sebro_pcmark_2005_core_i7_2700k_106199_marks So this is a "cheat" too, if all these cheats are changing the root of the benchmark, ALL must be removed, thats all my friends

If a member of staff has used, handled or delivered information outside the staff moderation, is that it has exceeded its authority and failed in the ethics of competition. Perhaps like others benchers, have developed their own tweak and used in the in PCMark Because the benchmark have serious holes, i think so (so benchers are) Is our fault, By now, PcMark is under serious discussion in the staff, soon many submission will be blocked

I.nfraR.ed Imho sofos1990 wants to show the same thing that you said, to use this type of things is a cheat, or i'm wrong ?

Monitoring Zupernico user , cheat a lot ...
Sweet replied to a topic in Submission & member moderation
Ximi i think TerraRaptor is right in this. I can not say because I dont have a Z77and Ivy yet, but I think this run showing zupernico is right If you can show me with some proof that bad, would be better (Spanish) Ximi creo que lo que menciona TerraRaptor es correcto, no puedo asegurarlo porque todavía no tengo una z77 y un Ivy, pero me parece que esta corrida que muestra zupernico esta bien. Si puedes mostrarme con alguna prueba que esta mal, sería mejor -
Guys in this world, anywhere in the world, there are people who can easily develop a cheat to any benchmark, but that's not right in the overclocking, this is a cheat there is no king of software these days, any overclocker can develop a cheat to modify the final score, some overclockers have done this in my country., but dont use this because they think is illegal, like in Brasil and anothers countrys. I say Cheat i use that word too knut
-
.rft in blank go to infinite Thats why is illegal, you modifie temps files in the benchmark

Voiager - Radeon HD 5970 @ 960/1220MHz - 59194 marks 3DMark05
Sweet replied to Andrix85's topic in Result Discussions
Sorry Voiager, but subtest are mandatory in the screen -
Not bad, can be a good idea, I will be moving this idea to the discussion in the staff I dont think so, staff members can not commentate anything that is discussed internally, as it is a moral and ethical obligation to which we all subscribe. I do not think we should use the knowledge of the tweaks to benefit or gain points....
-
@sofos1990 The girl in your wallpaper to the right side., improve your score, that girl is not allowed, by now, only by now
-
is interesting. but tweak (better Cheat) TE (text edit) is illegal, because modify temporary files, As I See It at this moment, all this is being discussed in the staff, we need a little time to come to a desicion. my apologies and all the staff by this
-
Any software (tweak - trck - cheat or whetever) altering the benchmark achieve a result bulky is not permitted. There are many twaeks that altering the perception of the benchmark, because replace or modify temporary files of own benchmark. Any tweak doing this, is not allowed, and at that time no longer a tweak is a cheat, obviously becomes illegal, most probably the bencher use a cheat, runs the risk of being called a cheater and in turn that the staff can take action on. No limits, apparently, to the tweaks, then Sam OCX is right. Note:This place is Hardwarebot , not sofwarebot, overclocking the hardware is only one and the most important, here

zupernico, you use integrated graphic of Z77 board. ? Maybe is mistake, please delete this submission @Ximi, please always provide pics of yopur rig in all submission in Enthusiast-League Thanks guys -
Ufff sorry i write slowly in english, better spanish for me.

What ? not i am not !!!!, I am not flexible in this, this is a cheat, that is the problem w/PcMark., the limit of the hack

I live in Buenos Aires - Argentina (15000 Kms), and a call from he can be more expensive than a 3770k. Look, perhaps next year I traveled to Germany - Netherlands - Austria and Italy, with my family (i hope), I prefer saving those euros for the trip Well...sorry for the Off Yes i know, many think like you and that is the problem Perhaps the communication of each member of staff, with benchers, should be more fluid. NOT by Telephone, please
-
Thanks, We talked a lot with Christian about it, but a telephone is very expensive, only been made in the staff and in the facebook. Christian is part of the staff too, and think about it totally different. But i dont know his page, what is the link ? My feeling is : #think you can only make tweaks involving "only" the OS and that in no way change anything, as increasing a subtest score with script, in the original benchmark# Maybe i'm wrong, maybe i'm right

For the record to ALL. Days ago GENiEBEN, staff member, has shown all the staff how it works- text edit tweak- Each member of staff is also a bencher, but always, the crew, prioritize research on every tweak in each of the benchmarks. Maybe some may not comment every tweak ( So...benchers are ), but finally, we have a good discussion of each of the changes that may or may not allow. By now tweak text edit is the discussion, well....sincerely I'm the one that discusses. I will not deny that the discussion is also, what is the limit of tweaks that can afford, because anytime one Sempron 2200+ show better score than 3770k, both w/accard or ssd or anything like HDD Thanks Gen !! :ws: I had to make this clarification
-
Yes it is The most important tweaks I've used have been developed by overclockers of my country and are not equal to those who have used other overclockers from other countries. Some of them, such as changing the HDD, I chatted with Gluvocio (only), but he uses a different method. If you look, no one in Latin America, wants to use the PCMark, everyone thinks it's cheating, that is why we stopped using, and maybe have much reason. (this include the great overclockers of this region like rbuass - nacho_arroyo - siouxx, etc. ) @Scotty is good to be back, I took some time to reflect and do other things with my old car. (hobby of course ) cheers my friend Note: Anyone remember 3DMark'99 cpu tweak ?
-
Asrock z77 oc formula + ln2 = PURE POWER
Sweet replied to nacho_arroyo's topic in Extreme overclocking
Nice Mr. arroyo, very bright, i like this board, Unfortunately restrictions in our country , prevent me from buying the rig similar. Ahhh "shutdown -a" :nana: Cheers nacho -
PcMark 2005 not the only one in question, maybe also PcVantage and PcM7, may have some problems "tweaks", if we look at the overall results. I personally have stopped running the PCMark 2005, too much time for tweaks, I'd rather lose this time adjusting the hardware. Besides with my spirit of overclocker (or almost) feel like I'm cheating the other guys, is my feeling in this problem I know this tweaks: - powertoy, transp windows, web page red, change Hdd (is script), virus scan. and a few more. I dont know Text edit "tweak" I have not tested. I think this is a script .bat, that exponentially increasing the score. By now, I prefer to wait until it is clear this problem of the PcMark (all the PcMark - Vantage y 7) It all started almost a year ago with the use of ram caching (undercover ) and now led to many more problems with more tweaks. Now moderate this benchmark is clearly impossible, if we do not define the limits of the benchmark's hack. if you ask me, I think you can only make tweaks involving "only" the OS and that in no way change anything, as increasing a subtest score with script, in the original benchmark (script or not script, that is the question) I think Pro can help a lot with this Note: anyone remember 3DMark'99 cpu tweak ?
-
Guys, What is the limit? is what we are asking everyone using the PCMark (any benchmark like 2005 - Vantage or 7) Aristidis, Pro are right and rbuass, Scotty and Moose83 too, depending on each viewpoint. perhaps i'm not right, only i'm old Overclocking or Softwareclocking or both ? Interesting
