yes this cpu is very very hot, i can't imagine that we will see numbers with retail ivy like E0. it seems that E0 ivy clocks a lot better and retail has better IMC. evap temps are -112°C idle and -107°C load @ 32m -

this SHARING has to stop!!
joe_cool replied to mickeymouse's topic in Submission & member moderation
In my eyes is this a absolute worthless discuss. There is no way to proof all the things for anyone, you always have to trust what the guys tell you. And what will you make if some really rich people find a new hobby like this, they will be able to buy and pretest 50 cpu's, 20 gpu's etc. ? Will you call it a unfair competition again ? Is F1 or any other motorsport unfair ? Is it unfair when everybody use all his possibilities ? Do you really think it would be a big problem for Michael or me to make the same or better scores at home ? What will you do if one of us post his results one or two weeks later ? Can you proof who made the scores, where are made the scores ? Michael has already decided to leave the competition here. In the moment i'm thinking about the same....... _ -

Now i'm back at home.... Here you can see some of my hardware. http://www.abload.de/img/-2181e6f.jpg To the same clocks and so on, we made a show at the asus booth and for this we only used some safe settings/clocks. Because it's not a good show if all the people are looking for hours on a black screen. The real results we will made in the next few weeks at home, there is a lot of more room for higher clocks on cpu and gpu left. _ -

Sorry guys, i will post you some pics of my hardware later. We have changed the setup every day, one day we benched with my setup and the next day we benched with Michael's setup. Overall we have 6 4870x2's - 3 from Michael and 3 from me (one died), 3x QX9650 from Michael, 1x QX9650 from me, 4x E8600 from Michael, 3x E8600 from me, 2x Rampage Extreme from Michael and 2x Rampage Extreme from me and several kits of our own ram. So don't tell me about hardware sharing..... btw. It would be great to ask the person first who made the result, before you block or delete a score. Sorry for my bad english. _ -
Hardware sharing and both parties submitting
