  1. Nope, didn't seen any throttling going on. All other Snapdragon 800 devices have problems though.
  2. To clarify: elemination takes place on April 16 12:00 GMT+0
  3. It's possible that the other people were using an older version of XTU. Temperature information is included in the XTU datafile from version 4.3.
  4. Thanks for the heads up, removed the score!
  5. Might be a local competition?
  6. The issue has not been patched it. Still on backlog.
  7. Just fixed the link for HWBOT Prime!
  8. Would it be an option to fill the prize jar with lucky draws? Ie, entry fee gives you a ticket for winning something like a motherboard or memory kit.
  9. A division is constituted by hardware restrictions. In the example, Division I is only for Core i7 CPUs and GTX 770. As for your hobby purchases for team activity, there are two ways: 1) HWBOT Teams League, and 2) HWBOT "eSports" Team Coefficient. For 1) the activity is the same is it is now. For 2) you can pick the division you want to be active in and support your team by doing well in the five stages each round. For example, you can go for a Core i3 class and try your best for the team in that class.
  10. Oops, small update with more correct info
  11. Binning cards is not allowed. The cards are provided by the organization. Also, FYI, the winner can choose the time slots for the competition first. So winning the online qualifier will give the benefit of choosing the time to compete.
  12. Will add this to the competition pages later ... Competition Prizes - Championship: USD $10,000 - Runner up: USD $1,500 + G.SKILL TridentX DDR3 2666MHz CL10 16GB (4x4GB) + G.SKILL TridentX DDR3 2800MHz 32GB (4x8GB) - Second Runner up: USD $1,000 + G.SKILL TridentX DDR3 2800MHz 32GB (4x8GB) All contestants may keep the G.SKILL TridentX 3000MHz kits provided for the competition. All contestants will be awarded a G.SKILL DDR4 sponsorship. Rules for the live competition: http://news.hwbot.org/Competitions/781_GskillOcWorldCup/rulesAnnouncenmentV3.pdf
  13. Please read the PDFs on Rev6. It's very difficult to integrate opinions if it's not based on rev6. This does not affect XOC and this does not affect the site HWBOT.
  14. What are your opinions on the idea to make competitive overclocking less dependent of The Industry? The first goal of this idea is to establish a system for competitive overclocking which is self-sustainable. 90% of the money that overclockers would choose to put up goes straight back to the overclockers. I wouldn't exactly qualify that as leeching. I think you're right. That's why the "pay-out" happens at the end of a season (3 rounds of 5 benchmarks spread over a year) and is fairly limited in size. It should discourage people from trying to cheat, I assume?
  15. Nothing
  16. Hey all, Here's the third and probably the most controversial idea/plan for Revision 6. In the PDF linked below you can find the explanation on why and how we want to achieve an autarkic overclocking platform. For those who don't know, "autarky" is a term used for when a system is self-sustainable. NOTE! This is not a plan that has already been set in stone. It's an idea, but we might not implement it. NOTE2! In the document we describe the situation when everyone who wants to participate has to chip in, but if the community feels more comfortable giving this as an option, we can consider that. So in other words: those who chip in, can participate to win. Those who rather not chip in, can just compete for honor/respect. Looking forward to the feedback, but keep it civil please :celebration: Link: http://url.hwbot.org/1esAqsy
  17. Any reason why? Do you have an example of your "move" issue? Added device auto-completion!
  18. Reported to development team, not sure what is causing this. Done! Done! Fixed! The points were supposed to go to teams to, but the current implementation is that it only works for users. The points should be awarded automatically and can be found under Profile > points > competition points. What would you like to change it into ?
  19. You need crazy photoshop skills to combine those two logos LOL
