  1. Confirmed. No reason to use bugged apps. The rules page also stated "latest version", which V1.82 is not. I adjusted the rules page to reflect this: http://hwbot.org/news/1592_application_19_rules
  2. Okay, I think Karl might be 6 then.
  3. Thanks for the report - added both to the bug backlog!
  4. By community request, an AMD version of the Rookie Rumble!
  5. And Jack. That would make 6 people.
  6. Okay, making an appointment to go check the place. Will send an email to the six people who want to stay with more information.
  7. Just checked it out, not too much rooms for 6 people. There's one in Xinyi for ~ 1700e for 12 days. That's 23e per night or 283 in total.
  8. The new place is more to the right - to the right of the brown line in between red and line
  9. - 2 double beds - 3 single beds - TWD $54,000 for 12 days (06/01 - 06/12) In Da'an district, bit further away from Nangang than last year, but closer to the HWBOT gathering (somewhat in the middle). Got to transfer to blue line though. A lot of other options seem to be more expensive right now
  10. The main reason why XTU is included is because we notice that it's the benchmark that introduces most people to the world of HWBOT. The Rookie Rumble is an initiative from our side with no influence from Intel on the benchmark selection. It makes sense to include the benchmark that brings most new Rookies to the bot in the Rookie Rumble cup. Anyway, there will always be a scenario where one setup has an advantage over the other. That's the interesting part of competitive overclocking: trying to find a way to overcome the performance deficits of your own system :celebration:
  11. Added HWBOT links to the opening post!
