  1. Hey all, So here's the second part of the R6 plans. Again I've added everything in a PDF and it's a fairly long read. Any feedback is always welcome! PS: just to make sure you all get it - this will not replace the existing Teams League. Just additional. PDF: http://news.hwbot.org/revision6/rev6doc_teamcoefficientExplained2.pdf For who go tldr, here's a video we used internally to explain this system.
  2. The Pro OC is going to be a platform choice, really. Looking at what the Haswell-E will cost, that would typically be a platform reserved only for that segment. I have another part of the Rev6 concept coming in a couple of minutes.
  3. If there's a headcount for people who are okay renting out a larger apartment (like last year), I can check airbnb.com for a bigger place?
  4. Are you guys looking for a hotel room, or something like we've arranged last year?
  5. Awesome, thanks for sharing Phil!!
  6. Blocked the results and contacted the overclockers. Be gentle with 'm, they are HWBOT Rookies after all
  7. How many folks are looking for a hotel ... might be a good idea to stay in the same neighbourhood?
  8. Yes, the bug has not been fixed yet. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  9. I guess we could make a separate AMD Rookie Rumble, if that would interest people?
  10. The way the implementation works is it divides your HWBOT Prime score by the amount of cores of your system. For the core count, the same rules apply like before. That means "disabling cores" is not allowed and the engine will always divide the score by either the stock core count, or higher if you for example unlock cores.
  11. Okay, an enthusiast competition is in the planning. Stay tuned!
  12. Hm, Cookie says onboard audio works fine at 140MHz. I'm pretty sure there's a PCIe lock in those PLLs. Doesn't make sense not to have one ...
  13. Checked and confirmed. In order to switch to the SB PLL, you need to boot at >133 MHz. Preferably a bit higher, like 140 MHz, to ensure the PLL is switched.
  14. Aware of the issue: http://bugs.hwbot.org/browse/HWBOT-1257 Fixed Link? Hm, looking into it
  15. Nick changed
  16. I'll ask for the fix, but can't promise it will be fast. Can you give me the list of names (or preferably links to their profiles). I'll move them manually then.
  17. Hm, if I remember correctly the A85X-UP4 has the two PLLs. Maybe it's not in the BIOS. It's been so long I've run that board. Let me check
