Massman replied to Massman's topic in ARM Overclocking (Raspberry Pi and other devices)

Fyi, we had a funky cold issue with Z87 last weekend. At -135°C, 01 Nature was ~70FPS; at -107°C, 01 nature was ~ 220FPS. Reboot solved the issue though.

None of the three are you, Beier. You beha(ir)ved well, you're moving to the "tolerable" class

Last day of the Computex 2013 experience! I am pretty tired right now, so I will keep pictures and write-ups for tomorrow or the day after. But I wanted to say it was great seeing so much like-minded people in one place. Except for those two/three people that are nothing more than a disgrace to this lovely hobby of ours, each and everyone I met and spoke to has shown to share the passion of overclocking. I am fairly certain this Computex was one of the largest meetings for (extreme) overclocking (apart from the competitions) and I am happy to have been part of it! Above all, it was great to see my two Belgian team mates Leeghoofd and Gamer again! Until the next time! (what event should we make a thread about now? )

Crazy efficiency!! -
Okay, the semi-final details were discussed today. This thread was taken into the discussion, as well as feedback from the marketing team (those who pay) and other overclockers. The final announcement is going to come later this week, but here is the digest: Class A - Titan allowed (just needs MSI bios ~ aocc rule) - Haswell (Z87) only - Retail only, of course - Same benchmarks as qualifier Note: Top-3 Regional Non-Winners (for each region) will get a Z87 board to use in the semi-final and there are also three lucky draws. So for AM and APAC, that's places 2-4 and for EMEA places 3-5 who are getting a Z87 board. Class B - same hardware (no haswell) - new benchmarks: 3dmark03, Wprime1024M, Vantage There will be a new competition background for this competition.

Smile for the camera! Yeah ...

I know it is your opinion; you have repeated it about a thousand times now. As far as your analysis that single GPU is "more competitive", you do realize that there were a total of three people with Titan on LN2 in the previous Cup? Please explain how this is more competitive. Honestly, you could be a bit more respectful towards Gunslinger. He managed to beat KP for a while with the cards just on air. There was a choice to be made between single GPU Titan and a dual GPU mainstream. The choice is the dual GPU. The dual GPU should be easier for teams from like Indonesia that usually have less expensive hardware.

I found the inspiration with T_M

I guess it means Broadwell now ... :-/ (all jokes aside, I'll update you with info once I get it. Computex is over and everyone is going to normal work again next week)
-
Well, it is quite simple. A new concept like this needs time to mature. The time in this case is minimum three/four Cups to see the effect on the Pro OC Ranking. My thinking with the Pro OC Cup is long-term, not short-term, so I don't make evaluations or conclusions after one week or even one edition of the Cup. Now you tell me, who is #2?
-
Who was #2 in the first cup and who is #2 in the current ranking (based on last three cups) ?

Opening post updated. Also turned this into a sticky. @Loud: I'm taking the submissions directly from the database with an sql query as it's easier to update. Just submit the results in the dbase and I'll update the opening post. -
Opening post updated. Hondacity still king!
