  1. Whut? £220 is like €250. That can't be right?
  2. Look, I have even used a lot of mainboards: 45x Maximus IV Extreme 17x Rampage II Extreme 16x Maximus III Formula 12x P8P67 Deluxe 10x Rampage Extreme 6x M3A78-T 4x Rampage III Extreme 3x Maximus II Formula 3x P5K 2x Crosshair IV Extreme 2x P4C800 2x P5A 1x Crosshair III Formula 1x P5W64 WS Professional 1x P7P55 WS SuperComputer 1x P5N32-SLI Premium/WiFi-AP 1x P8H67-M LE 1x P4C800-E Deluxe
  3. Several people said to me I hate ASUS. Well, I don't. Good that we cleared that up!
  4. The term 'Rev-OC' would refer to the X58A-OC delays. It was nothing more than a (lame?) joke
  5. The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. I just convinced you, didn't I Good luck in the challenge. I haven't done that much multi-cpu overclocking (Skulltrail once and that was pure horror) myself, so I should be able to learn a lot from this one.
  6. Totally off-topic, but I'm asking it anyways: how's the challenge going for everyone?
  7. I had expected someone to say "Rev-OC" by now
  8. Haha. Maybe the only thing that will change is me losing the "no ln2" argument for lack of big scores
  9. where: HWBmqi = HWBOT memory quality indication a, b, c = platform specific scaling parameters Fr, CLr, TRCDr = reference values for memory frequency, cas latency and rcd timing Fo, CLo, TRCDo = operating values you set for the memory For Sandy Bridge SuperPI-32M, the scaling parameters are: a = 3,28 b = 2,09 c = 1 For Sandy Bridge, that means there are settings give approx this performance:
  10. My first entry on the people-that-don't-hate-list! . This is not the first supplier I contact, but the third supplier. First one made me pay 3€/l, second one ~0,7€/l but had an aweful facturation system (often had to correct invoices) and didn't offer on-site dewars. It's a matter of looking around. This dewar is installed in the garden. I just roll it to the front of the house everytime it needs to be refilled. Refill is on-call. Have you tried through a company? I guess they are much more anal when they have to install it for a private individual. ~ 1.2% a day. We're going to use two smaller dewars to store LN2 in too.
  11. No one claimed WR. Look at what I wrote: "Dinos22 takes #1 1x GPU: 132652 with GTX275" Technically, K|ngp|n's score doesn't have a ranking. Dinos' has ranking #1
  12. Next time with better memory, I hope . Also too bad you have low CH. Good run should be > 600FPS
  13. It was the smallest one they had. 240L is supposed to give me one and a half month of LN2 fun. Not one weekend.
  14. The dewar itself nothing. Installation is normally something like 800€, but since I'm the first person to sign with the company that is going to use this for overclocking, they suggested to pay that 800€ themselves . The price per liter is okay too (~ 0.5€/L or so). Needed to buy so extra gear for the installation which come down to ~ €250-300. I'd say pretty sweet deal.
  15. http://hwbot.org/listResults.do?contestBenchmarkId=194&limit=200&order=user.country.name&filterBlocked=true I don't see i5 680 score?
  16. Yes. I, on the other hand, am a negative profit organisation.
  17. There was no submission in CPU-Z stage ...
  18. You don't have a CPU-Z validation video for that i5 680
  19. That result is with the same i5 680: http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2162530_johnamd_superpi_32m_core_i5_680_9min_10sec_11ms
  20. There's no CPU-Z video validation for that 680 processor, only for your i7 870. To have a valid SuperPI-32M score, you also needed to have a valid CPU-Z video.
  21. did you ... enabled PLL override
  22. - JohnAMD's 680 32M results were not valid due to lack of matching CPU-Z result in stage 1 - OC Genie's 32M result was removed because the screenshot did not match the video Lapinoux and Clon22 are the winners of the competition. Now following up on the voting contest at Facebook Fanpage.
