Just out of curiosity, have you tried jumping straight to 105MHz or so?
-
Hey Bullant, just want to say I love seeing your threads and your progress

Do you still have the problems today? As Der8auer says, it might be a problem with the recalculation of the points. When we enable the points, we recalculate the global points on the spot. The hardware points are recalculated async, meaning when the engine has time available it will recalculate hardware rankings. I believe there is a trigger to process the hardware rankings with new submissions with higher priority, so the new submissions would get the points faster. That might explain the lag.

You can simple contact xyala@hwbot.org to reserve the hardware you want to use for the ROG OC Showdown Area, the World Series, or you general benching session. Are you running the 64bit executable? + the latest Intel OpenCL CPU drivers? -
Might be a bug, or it ran from the GPU. Did you install the CPU drivers for the benchmark? I had the situation my CPU wasn't available for calculation if I didn't install the drivers. So by default it would run the benchmark from the GPU.

IMPORTANT UPDATE At the World Tour event, the ROG OC Showdown Area is a separate part of the venue, featuring its own branding and of course hooked up to our livestream system. The goal is to broadcast the World Record, Global First Place, and Hardware First Place results as they come in. For this purpose, we have four seats available during the ROG OC Showdown Area for participants to attempt to set the best results. Since there are more than four people attending the event, you need to reserve a time slot for your attempt. The available time slots are: June 6, 10AM - 2PM: 4 seats June 6, 2PM - 6PM: 4 seats June 6, 6PM - 10PM: 4 seats June 6, 10PM - June 7, 2AM: 4 seats June 7, 2AM - 6AM: 4 seats June 7, 6AM - 10AM: 4 seats June 7, 10AM - 2PM: 4 seats June 7, 2PM - 6PM: 4 seats To reserve a time slot, please send an email to xyala@hwbot.org. Please include your nickname, which time slots you would prefer, and when you arrive and leave the event. In case there are slots not taken, we will allow multiple time slots per person. Hint: it's quite likely that the top-bin hardware will be supplied at the ROG OC Showdown Area *wink*.

I just want to say that I was running GPUPI yesterday for a demo, and I was impressed by the HWBOT integration. Might be even better than XTU

In short, - if you only want to move a select group of members -> they have to do it by themselves - if you want to merge the teams -> team captains need to agree -> we can help with the merge

That's the problem. The key point is that our engine will not give you the best combination of results. In your team, you need to figure out the best combination of all your results. In this case, Nexus needs to choose whether he wants to contribute to DDR4 or DDR3. Right now he is "blocking" S4ch4z from contributing because he has a better DDR3 score. So, two things: 1) I will remove Nexus' submissions from the competition so S4ch4z is contributing again. 2) For future competitions, do you think this is too complicated? We can also change the system to the "top-3 scores" in general. That would make it easier to understand which scores are contributing, but it would also mean the Novice Nimble team competition can be won by one user who has all the hardware. What do you think?
-
There wasn't any press release either, so it seems this was a silent move after Futuremark joined UL. Interesting - not sure who is leading the Futuremark department in UL now.
-
Hahah, Taloken! You should just give up é, è, ô, and all the other strange stuff
-
yeap
-
According to his LinkedIn profile, he's now at Renderstorm. Shake-up after the the takeover by UL?
-
Did S4ch4z submit a better score with DDR4? Or is there another member who submitted a better DDR3 result?
