  1. In the "Cooling" For Sale section on OCN, usually someone has them. This guy has 16 new and 10 used that appear available

Killa's Winter Cooling Sale [Gentle Typhoon AP-15, Alphacool Rads Etc.]

I'm sure you are probably looking for used, but I've been able to get several harder to find items from Sidewinder Comp in Florida (USA). They've got new ones for around $15.

    Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120 mm Silent Case Fan - 57 CFM - 1225C12B5AP-15 - 120 Millimeter Fans

Also when searching the can be called DarkSide or Nidec Servo Gentle Typhoon and they are sold by several other places in the US too

  2. This is how it feels to be dancop ? I think I'd rather be third place with a community like this lol

More money more problems, awesome WR ! Didn't think we'd be seeing 420's for another month. As a community we should be celebrating that we don't have another Devils Canyon on our hands. KBL is the best thing that's happened for us since I became interested in XOC almost 4 years ago, and instead of bringing us together and tightening the community like it should it's tearing us apart. If we truly want to grow as a community we need to focus on our common interest and enjoy this time. Just think about what possible supporters are seeing if they stumble upon our community. Hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas and Happy Holidays !

"The eVc device uses the 2-wire/I2C/SMBus interface to communicate. . . . . . This interface works by using two signals (Data/SDA and Clock/SCL) plus a ground reference (Ground/GND), "

    SMB Data = Pin 18

    SMB Clock =Pin 19

  4. Clicking on your profile says you are not registered and no way to send pm, not sure why. Anyways I spent a good 9 months binging HYKO and PSC up until a couple of months after ddr4 E Die appeared. I mainly stuck to G.Skill kits exclusivley as they seems to be the best for both. This is the best retail kit I found out of 2400c9, 2600c10 and 2666c10 TridentX kits. About 20 kits of 2 x 4gb and 2 quads. I do have one more retail kit thats almost as good. I have not really pushed these 2 kits to limits as I have other kits to do this with tending to max volts around 2.15-2.18v but only for short periods to preserve them but other kits I've tested held up well for long 2.35v sessions and short 2.4v max bios. Seem you need a hard mod to kill Sammy HYKO.

  5. Memory challenges are a great idea, but I can beat a 5g 4133c12-11-11 tight sub with a 5.1g 4000c12-12-12. Kind of defeats the point here if fastest cpu wins. If you want to keep it fair, cap cpu freq to 6.0-6.2g Max to shift the focus onto mems. Not a lot of guys have high binned Haswell cpu (ddr3 challenge) and since I do would it be fair if I placed Top 3 becuse my 4770k at 6.45g with mems on XMP ?

EDIT: Please disregard, after reading the rules I realized I'm an idiot. That is all :D

  6. The bios for the Z170M Pro4S is not listed, i would like if anyone could confirm that the bios on Asrock Website would work, the bios before the microde x76 update.

BIOS 2.40 would be the most recent and possibly only bios with Sky OC (non K OC). Bios 2.60 clearly states "removes Sky OC function" and bios 2.20 may be too early?. I know that on my OCF as long as I'm using microcode 2d or 74 it works great and my boards bios has option to hange microcode so maybe yours does too

    ASRock > Z170M Pro4S

UPDATE: Looks like you should go to "Beta Zone" this page has all you need for non k oc
