  1. And how to use after the previous restart Drag "To Eram" to "Z drive" on desktop, Open Shortcut you made before restart and run 16K once. Now click Alt C, down arrow until you get to 32m, hit "Enter" ONCE only You'll see screen that says "Hit Enter to run 32m" just leave it alone or move to side *WAZA* (Optional) Run a batch file such as "Waza.bat" or use OCX Pi Tweaker 1.0.8 Open Task Manager (Ctrl Shift Esc) Details Tab, right click SuperPi, set Priority "Realtime" Right click Super Pi again, go to "Affinity" and have checkmark only in cpu core box "1" (Optional) Right-click - End Task - "Explorer"
  2. To prep ERam for "fast start" Create Folder on Desktop called "To Eram". Put Super Pi program in it After E Ram installed, click on my Computer and you'll see "Z drive" Drag Z drive to desktop (copy) Now drag "to eram" folder (super pi) to Z drive on desktop open that Z drive, open "to eram" folder in z drive right click drag super pi to desktop to create shortcut Open the Super Pi in Z - to eram the one you just created a desktop shortcut for, not the shortcut itself grab bottom right corner of super pi window and pull up and left until you only see top bar with super pi logo and Super Pi / mod 1.5 XS Hit Alt C (for calculate), then hit Enter 3 times. this runs 16K do this like 15 times to get good score, close super pi and restart computer ERAM220.zip
  3. I can only run cache at 4600MHz maximum on ambient cooling. Even using Formula Drive or physical buttons on mainboard the OS will freeze up when applying 4650 or more. Tried up to 1.625v You need to try different combinations of bclk. Like boot up at 105 bclk and up to 106.4 in OS with 47 multi for cpu That will give you 3830 ram option or 3970 for SR ram Here are the directions I promised for installing ERam step 1: Click "start" menu and open "Control Panel" Double click "Add Hardware" Hardware Wizard opens up click "Next" step 2: Select "Yes, I already connected the hardware" click "Next" step 3: Scroll to bottom of list select "Add new hardware device" click "Next" step 4: Select "Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)" click "Next" step 5: Select "Show all devices" click "Next" step 6: click on "Have Disk" step 7: Navigate to your extracted "ERam220 folder click "Open" select folder named "2000" and click "Open" click on "ERAM2000.inf" setup information file and then click "Next" 1 or 2 more times step 8: ERAM is now installed and you should see icon in Control Panel Double click on "ERAM" icon to open up it's properties Type in 100000 for "Disk size" select "External (E) click on "Modify" and click "OK" You will be asked to Restart now, Say NO Go to Eram folder at c : or d: or e: \Eram220 NOT the Control Panel or Z drive in My Computer Double click on file named "format_auto_eram.bat Click OK Double click again on same file and then OK Now it's time to Restart the PC
  4. My 11600k SL 5.1 bin fails 4800 cache . . . at 1.6v . . . on SS ? Edit: Raptor slowing down times in 32m, no way that's blasphemy
  5. This what you get when you bin by the truckload ?
  6. Sometimes even daily stable mems fail 32m
  7. Pretty sure he's using Coolermaster aio TEC, so no not really sub zero but sub ambient to zero-ish at idle. Probably +30C load
  8. 32m is challenging, but isn't that why we still love it. Take this picture below, this is TestMem5 Extreme1@anta777.cfg, HCI MemTest 7.0 and LinX 0.9.11 stable but I can't pass 32m with these settings. It needs higher DRam V, IO Mem V and SA V to pass
  9. Welcome to OCN Muthauffah, say what again I dare you lol Pulp Fiction reference
  10. I'd rather short on the board myself but yes that's always been an option. I was mostly just thinking if you were to run Strong Chiller or SS Phase change ( or colder ) then doing some hard modding would be quite beneficial
  11. Well it's not like you can just run a Coffee Lake -R cpu with DDR3. There were only a handful of Z170 chipset 1151 boards made and they were 1 not very popular and 2 never meant for anything more than a budget solution to jump to Skylake. Some of the boards only officially supported up to 6700k cpu with 7700k being as far as these boards were designed to safely push. So just getting an 8700k or 9900k to post requires modification to the bios as well as patching and finding a way to flash the modified bios without bricking the board . You also need physical modification the pcb itself, more specifically the Nuvoton chip / skt_occ. Once you have all that working then you need additional modifications to feed enough vcore to the 8c cpu and you can see more issues like cooking the power delivery planes to a crisp to deal with etc. So yeah oversight and loopholes have owned these competitions for years and if you're willing to track down such rare hardware and put all that work and testing involved just to run 1 or 2 benchmarks you deserve to be rewarded and 9900k cores and ipc is said reward. Good work Tagg
  12. 9900K scores about the same as 10900k it seems ? Oh and here is your real link haha https://www.3dmark.com/nr/62847
  13. Interesting, looking forward to cold !
  14. Yes, lower tCWL to 9 like Ivaneza said That will allow you to set tWRWR_sg from 23 to 21 and tWRWR_dg from 23 to 21 Lower tWTR_S from 6 to 1 That in turn will allow you to lower tWRWR_dg from 21 to 16
  15. Man, Corsair has no consistency I guess. DJR has been near impossible to find in the US but you did great with that Micron I wonder if it's the same IC's as my ver 3.32 3600c18 kit
  16. You sure that not a school project for elephant toothpaste or maybe Pharaoh's snakes ? ?
  17. Is this correct ? Currently 9/6/21, 10:10PM Central Time here
  18. I've got Micron's as well (CMK16GX4M2D3600C18 V3.32) , but everyone else is using Samsung besides sabishiihito. He's using a kit similar to mine but actually made for Intel cpu (unlike mine) CMK16GX4M2Z3600C18 Hynix Have yet to sub mine as cpu (11900Kf) might be on it's way out so probably should use 11600k or 5300G/AMD
  19. That's awesome man ! The "best" Dual Rank all ambient Samsung run I have is this. tRCD/RP at 11 seems impossible with this kit. OS is beyond trashed from testing many kits of memory Has seen at least 125 NEIR and 25 Not Convergent in Sqr's . ?
  20. Exactly, They are in the correct categories. Just saying the argument people used to make about 9590 (and other cpu's like it) that it was made to compete against the 4 core Intel's is not based on logic. I just failed bad at getting my point across ? because I wasn't making an argument for or against anything. I'm not worried about it, I have trust that the correct decision will be made
  21. Just to play devils advocate, was the FX 9590 put into 8 core because that's what AMD called it ? What if they had called it a 4 core with SMT, It competed pretty well against the 4770k ? Benchmarks that AMD is usually good at like Cinebench put these 8 cores on par with 4770k when maxxed out on Lin. So were any of these cpu's capable of getting Global First Place back when they were new. I'd imagine CPU Frequency would of been the only one with GpuPi the only other possibility. I'm not saying to have it one way or not, just want to make sure we are considering everything before making a decision we may regret in the future
