Adjustment for Global Points - Work in progress
Thanks for the update. Nice to see things are moving along. I would appreciate if you could define what the goals are for this update. I know about the load on the servers, and XTU points. But what else? Some thoughts on the figures above: - WR points should be decreased since the global points are higher now. - Why artificially limit XTU, why not a cap for maximum number of scores that affect all benchmarks the same? - Points scaling seem better, but would need to see the whole deal to really know. Test server usually don't have all scores to give correct reading.

Official Discussion Thread for G.SKILL OC World Cup 2016
No offence websmile, the above is not aimed at you personally. It is just to illustrate that maybe some humility from hwbot is needed and admit that there are problems with the rules. Implementing a new rule more than a month after the competition started, is a big deal! A simple checklist for the rules of any competition could resolve 99% of the questions and rule changes that keep happening on hwbot. If someone at hwbot wants me to help make one, just let me know.

Rauf replied to coolice's post in a topic in Skylake/Kaby Lake/Coffee Lake (-X) (Z170/Z270/Z370/X299) OCMy gtx 295 was not working so couldn't test it. But found a ref. Gtx 480. It seems it works fine. Got 1141 in nature 01 no matter what bios. Tried 7, 14, 15 on extreme. Elmor's settings.

Rauf replied to coolice's post in a topic in Skylake/Kaby Lake/Coffee Lake (-X) (Z170/Z270/Z370/X299) OCMy 480's are at my benchplace so I can't test right now. I think I have a 295 at home so I might be able to test that. It might be easier to reproduce in 03 as fps was like 1/4 of what it should be there.

Rauf replied to coolice's post in a topic in Skylake/Kaby Lake/Coffee Lake (-X) (Z170/Z270/Z370/X299) OCSaw same thing with GTX 480. Really bad Nature in 01 and 03. 980 Ti is fine though.

New HWBOT Team Ranking
Yes, but the question is if people really care about long term rankings or if competitions with a fixed start and end date is better? I don't think the individual ranking is that important to most people here, would the team ranking be more important? Once a team has filled their quota of benchmarks what is there left to do? With competitions there is a time window in which you can rally team members and organize hardware. When that competition ends, soon there will be another which would feature other hardware/benchmarks and people can rally towards that.
