  1. both my cpu's seems to be happy with 1.5. in my case: hard wall at 5.9ghz. 1.4pll term. 1.0 standby voltage wall lifts 6.3ghz 1.55pll term 1.35 standby voltage like the guide says the balance seems to be the important part not the height of the volt itself. felt like it didn't do much
  2. depends how aggressively you pour. you have to go super slowly. if you want to go over crack point you must have 1 degree increments past the "noisy" point of the pot. it also depends where you mount your probe and what equipment you use, maybe you are at -160 compared to other guys. So there are many factors. But for me to get no crack is very clean die and hs , then apply one line on the die, mount ihs, then one line on the ihs, mount pot with moderate settings, i dont like tight . Excellent thread and work daniel, awesome!

  5. dont use a box cutter, it has a bevel which forces the PCB down when you slice it in. WRONG: use a minora blade RIGHT
  6. 6700k L519C192 - 1.239 vid / 5ghz 1.39v boot win7 / not stable to do anything even at 1.45v. ln2, -165 6.270ghz cinebench 1.85v. 6.3 should be fine once i managed to stop cracking paste and go to -185. No cb or CBB. I think this is a good batch. will try bin more with Weez
  7. i experienced this on both my cpus. one died, one survived haha

  10. AWW YESS. its like pudding to my eyes now, now this can be the new 32M thread @Massman, how do we submit, how does the code thing work
  11. @Massman i would really love the 5"min47sec format >_<. my math brain cannot understand 357sec even if its super obvious
  12. for me it was a case of go subzero on the NB, and go to 1.85 1.9v but it seems you already tried that. for me it was a motherboard thing, i never ran into chip limits fsb wise, was always a gem mobo thing. so it is odd that you reached 670 limit on both
  13. sadly because the competition was spread over a few days, they didn't upload the screenshots to prevent other contestants from looking at settings!
