Is the chip just a beast or is the Z790 apex allso better at BCLK OC?

BIOS 3.01 allso works with non-k OC and allso can do AVX-512 with CPU that supports it and some effort As for warranty i personally don't really care as that's voided as soon as you're starting to scratch up the soldermask to throw more caps that the problem

@Antinomy Did you find any way to fix hwinfo freakout? my hwinfo dispalys correct multi but bus speed readout is completely trashed with this mod, CPU-Z works though... But effi is there that's for sure sub 1m easy

I fully expected you to go on a rant about the gigabyte board Tbh i have to rebench this chip on proper ddr3 board sometime anyways, this was supposed to be just quick test before chucking it out as i expected core on this to be too bad for anything, so just used giga board i had on the bench for TC reasons...

I got about 10°C better coldbug on the 2,6GHz chip by lowering Vpll, so yeah slight change, but still change

Why would that kill CPUs?

There's no epower for Vagp, that's Vmem On P4P800 i allso have epower for Vpll (uncouppled from Vcore) but didn't try Vagp epower so far, just lft it set to max board will do stock (1,8V) Vrms used for all thse is mem vrm from reff GTX 285, they work great as they only need 12v, no 3,3V needed

-150, this chip is weird as it will POST colder but not actually run it

CPUFSB is just CPUCool without the other stuff, i suspect the issues i have with this board (incl. it not reading SPD) are mostly because it's not retail P4B, it's maxdata OEM board flashed to retail

Board is limited to 200 so far as it's highest i can set in bios and neither setfsb nor cpu-fsb worked for me so far

well i'm missing a lot of effi on this will allso try socket A like you did for sure, just need to get board ready

As title says, got one of these CPUs for TC testing, turns out it has DDR3 imc and allso fits in AM3 socket (doesn't have the extra pin AM2+ has), quick test on Crosshair IV went well, allso #1 SPI 32M on hwbot is on DDR3 board: https://hwbot.org/submission/4348909_tantekaethe_superpi___32m_athlon_x2_5200_16min_58sec_187ms/ This is however only the 5200+, the 5000+ is "true" AM2+ CPU.

So close, this deserves rebench for that sweet 8g score
