Dancop Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Will the scores be divided by cores this time as well? I mean for physx? For heaven it is sure and maxmem as well, but for physx...how is it going there? And is TitanX allowed?
rtsurfer Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Limitations now available. Titan not allowed. Ā The Physics question still stands. Ā Is it going to be divided by the number of Cores.?
rtsurfer Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 That's not fair Lol. Ā That's actually perfectly fair. Or else all you would see is people with 5960Xs on top.
rtsurfer Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Probably.. Ā The competition this time seems to be less CPU dependent & can be done on Z97 unless the quad channel on Haswell-E gives more Memory Read Bandwidth compared to Tight PSC on Z97. Unlikely, but can't be sure till it's tested.
Tran_Bao_ Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 But use g3258 is not fair.Think about it i divied it
skulstation Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Not thad i gone enter this competition ( no asus gear ) Is the 20th Anniversary Gold Edition allowed? i know its not labeld as a ROG/Strix graphic cards Ā http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/GOLD20THGTX980P4GD5/
Micka Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Will the scores be divided by cores this time as well?I mean for physx? For heaven it is sure and maxmem as well, but for physx...how is it going there? And is TitanX allowed? Ā Ā Ā itās time show your 47K and psc ram again
Dancop Posted April 17, 2015 Author Posted April 17, 2015 Psc no need here...anywhere! Mfr and Samsung ftw
Dancop Posted April 20, 2015 Author Posted April 20, 2015 Hey staff! In general rules for fsx is written, that sys info 4.34 must be used! In specific rules, latest version of fsx and sys info. I was currently using 4.34 and 1.478...like in g.skill comp. Which one is right?
Administrators websmile Posted May 1, 2015 Administrators Posted May 1, 2015 4.34, has been specified, and for all contestants, please check the general rules at the comp and the specific rules at each stage to avoid results being removed
Dancop Posted May 1, 2015 Author Posted May 1, 2015 So...which version has now to be chosen? Compare the specific rules with the general rules
Administrators websmile Posted May 1, 2015 Administrators Posted May 1, 2015 LetĀ“s paste the rules^^- I think latest version of fsx should do the work, sys info is specified, I see no problem anyway if you use new benchmark version Stage 2: 3DMark Fire Strike Physics Ā Must provide verification screenshot including 3DMark score window, CPU, Motherboard, Memory, and SPD information. Compare link required. System Info 4.34 installed and enabled.
Massman Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 You can use the latest version of Physics and must use the 4.34 version of system info
meankeys Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Hi Guy's A browsing the rules again I noticed you need to use an ASUS vga so my round two subs may be disqualified as I used a EVGA 980 classy. If so the only setup VGA I have is a ASUS R9 295X2 can I use that?. Also I missed round 1 so does that disqualify me as well Thanks Mkeys
Administrators websmile Posted May 2, 2015 Administrators Posted May 2, 2015 Sorry, 295 not allowed, you need to use VGA with one GPU core - you donĀ“t need to have participated in round 1 to compete in round 2
