I think that 815 is better, but 440BX tweaked with BX tool could be the same or even faster. It's worth to check this and do a nice comparison.

Hello my friend ludek! In my opinion Intel bx440 is better but it doesn't have PCI fix over 100mhz. This is the problem

He probably ment , about pci dividers.

Late i440BX boards have PCI divider 1/4... at least some of them. However AGP clock is still FSB*2/3.

He's benching without battery because if something goes wrong, he simply turn off power and everything goes default!
