Min temp at zero ? people lauching realtemp at heating, easy cheat -> nope Max temp >20 ? people screaming about salted ice -> nope Some temp at "ambient" ? people screaming about canadians, russians and inuits -> nope No limitations ? no cheating possible, and people still continue screaming -> nope ... This thing of enthusiast going subzero with salted ice (perhaps as expensive as dice, ln2 and SS somewhere?) is discussed in several topics on this forum, so maybe create a general one, without DRAMA and with propositions of SOLUTIONS. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ That is the correct way of approaching things. 1) No chillers, ice, dice or whatever will cool water below ambient. 2) First five of every competition must be obliged to provide a REAL TIME video of the specific run, WITHOUT HIDDEN STUFF. 3) Any tangible suspicion that something is wrong and you are out. 3a) You do it again ? YOU ARE OUT PERMANENTLY OF ANY COMPETITION. 3b) Continue doing it in every day submissions. BANNED. Military rules ??? YES. You don't like it ? That is your problem. Stop benching or go XOC. No-one cares you bought your way to the win. I will honestly say thank-you though to all of the sponsors for the competition It was a good comp, even knowing who the winner was going to be. Big props to Nik for pulling out his monster chip and going for it with actual ambient temps. You're the real winner buddy.
