By editing the pifast.bat file with "pause" in the top line you can set the affinity and priority before pressing enter to run the bench. Is this allowed?

It will not help :P

Pausing the batch file you can set priority only for cmd.exe, but not for pifast41.exe ;)

Ok well the main thing I use it for is to ALT + ENTER to full screen so I can run it without graphics drivers installed :D

dinos... ive gotten over a 8k jump in aq3 with some serious ram tweking....

seems aq3 likes ram freq better than tight timings...

also loves cpu freq... i ran it at at 5.3ghz... then at 5.5 ghz... and it was a pretty drastic jump

Niko I've already thanked you in that particular xs thread for prioaff.exe, that's a hell of a program ! I've used it several times so far, and I gotta say it's great for one more time !

So far only for pifast though, not AM3 ... Gotta try it with that too ;)

I was just about to link it to you :) AM3 is a real treat with high priority and with better core selected, you can gain up to 80-100MHz, at least i did. Besides, with high prio the final result in AM3 is much more consistent (doesn't fluctuate as much).

Happy benching fellas! :P

P.S.: Dino, try to avoid sharks, i read you Aussies are on the menu these days! :)
