Oj0 Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 By editing the pifast.bat file with "pause" in the top line you can set the affinity and priority before pressing enter to run the bench. Is this allowed? Quote
S_A_V Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 It will not help Pausing the batch file you can set priority only for cmd.exe, but not for pifast41.exe Quote
Oj0 Posted January 12, 2009 Author Posted January 12, 2009 It will not help Pausing the batch file you can set priority only for cmd.exe, but not for pifast41.exe Ok well the main thing I use it for is to ALT + ENTER to full screen so I can run it without graphics drivers installed Quote
tiborrr Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 @jmke: I am doing that for years with the help of a little app, helps e.g. AM3 drasticly. I described the procedure once on XS.org Quote

tiborrr Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I was just about to link it to you AM3 is a real treat with high priority and with better core selected, you can gain up to 80-100MHz, at least i did. Besides, with high prio the final result in AM3 is much more consistent (doesn't fluctuate as much). Happy benching fellas! P.S.: Dino, try to avoid sharks, i read you Aussies are on the menu these days! Quote
