Oj0
By editing the pifast.bat file with "pause" in the top line you can set the affinity and priority before pressing enter to run the bench. Is this allowed?

S_A_V
It will not help Pausing the batch file you can set priority only for cmd.exe, but not for pifast41.exe

tiborrr
@jmke: I am doing that for years with the help of a little app, helps e.g. AM3 drasticly. I described the procedure once on XS.org
komadyret
There is a little app for this? Cool! Would you care to drop a linky to the piece in question? (I know, I'm too lazy to go look)

George_o/c
Niko I've already thanked you in that particular xs thread for prioaff.exe, that's a hell of a program ! I've used it several times so far, and I gotta say it's great for one more time ! Â So far only for pifast though, not AM3 ... Gotta try it with that too

tiborrr
I was just about to link it to you AM3 is a real treat with high priority and with better core selected, you can gain up to 80-100MHz, at least i did. Besides, with high prio the final result in AM3 is much more consistent (doesn't fluctuate as much). Â Happy benching fellas! Â P.S.: Dino, try to avoid sharks, i read you Aussies are on the menu these days!
