Raul SDT Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Conroe XE/CL/L, Kentsfield XE and Allendale are allowed ? Quote
just_nuke_em Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Wooo, s939. Time to break out the Ultra-D Quote
Massman Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Alright, competition page is ready. Fyi, you must use this competition background: http://hwbot.org/blog/wp-content//hocfeb12.jpg Good luck all! Quote
DrWeez Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 A verification link is required. for 03? does anyone have an unused key for 3DMark03 Pro to donate? the futuremark "buy now" link is broken! Quote
Massman Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 It should be possible to get a link with free versions too, no? Quote
DrWeez Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 not sure, but on the FM 03 page -> The Pro ORB features are only available via 3DMark03 Pro. installing on a pc with internet access now to test Quote
Massman Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Hm. Maybe we should just get rid of the verification link for 03 then? Quote
gigioracing Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 work in progress 60k pIV 3dmark03 :-) Quote
DrWeez Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 with the free version of 03 you can not save a validation file and upload it later or from a 2nd PC with internet connectivity so now I am busy reinstalling windows on the bench rig to check if a link is provided or if it just "compares" your score (03 crashed on my main rig in GT1 lol) Quote
debs3759 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 It is possible to upload 03 scores and get a verification link without registering it. I did just that yesterday (completed the last few benches on my 2700K + GTX570 to get me in the top 200 enthusiasts). Quote
debs3759 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Hi!Pentium 4 D playing? I wondered the same as well. One less processor to buy if they are allowed Quote
Gluvocio Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 I too want to know if Pentium 4 "d" are allowed Quote
Massman Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 -snip- see: http://hwbot.org/forum/showpost.php?p=152297&postcount=27 Quote
Luebke Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 and whats about p4 celeron? it might be easier if you just say the allowed cores like in stage #1 or the socket like in stage #2 (but in that case just 478 possible because 775 would allow core 2 duo/quad too)... Quote
Hondacity Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 (edited) pentium4 if its not pentium4 then its not allowed. simple as that. **pentium4 = single core Edited February 2, 2012 by Hondacity Quote
Hondacity Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 http://hwbot.org/hardware/processors#key=intel_pentium_4 Those are all the Pentium 4s Pentium 4s meant single core... when they had dual cores they dropped the "4" nomenclature. please confirm...otherwise my purchase is now defunct lol Quote
Luebke Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 that´s the problem: celeron isn´t pentium to me. and pentium D isn´t pentium 4. but the link shows the whole netburst-family including pentium D an celeron... the definiton isn´t as clear as in the other stages... Quote
