I did make a mistake calling the Dimensity 1050 the MT6879; MT6879 is (as you added) the Dimensity 920, which is identical to the 1050 except for mmWave support & the GPU (Mali G68-MC4 vs G610-MC3 respectively). They are even on the same node (TSMC 6nm). CPU-Z identifies it as MT6879, which I suppose is dead-on per the CPU side.

So, does this matter for submissions? Should I submit MediaTek Dimensity 1050 under 920?

Makes no difference to me how you do it, I just am interested in knowing. ;)

Ok I renamed the category to Dimensity 1050. Seems there is no MTxxxx number known for it.

This is the most detailed info I can extract. Both CPU-Z & AIDA64 just say MT6879, but DevCheck lists it as MT6879V/ZA. Although as you can plainly see, it also misidentifies the chip as Dimensity 820 and gets core configuration incorrect.
