I guess you can treat it as a quirk of ASUS 478 boards.

P4P800 / P4C800 versions also share the BIOS between Deluxe/non-Deluxe, yet the boards are technically different.

Indeed. Renamed to P4G8X / Deluxe

A bit different - P4P800/P4C800 have compatible BIOSes. As for P4G8X it's the same BIOS file for both versions. Hence they're the same for any software. The only differences are onboard peripherals.
