I have 2 dead mvg boards currently, so looking at cheap options. you don't get all the memory multi's of Z77 along with the max multiplier being capped at x59 I believe, but other than that you should be good.
July 11, 201212 yr Biggest problem is not getting >59x ratios. I also found the board to be a bit less predictable cold-wise than the MVG. A little bit more work to get Ivy running, I guess, but should bring you the same results .
July 11, 201212 yr Just to get on topic again - I only tested the M4E once and that was with a bad CPU, so maybe it wasn't the right combo to judge the board. As said, the biggest problem is the CPU ratio limit of 59x. Anything about 6.5G might be difficult to run stable, especially if your CPU can't handle high BCLK.
July 11, 201212 yr Author Thanks for the input. The multi limit and the memory ratios are the kickers. I will probably go ahead and sell it and get something else.
