Someone will figure out how to minimize it and use no vga drivers Thanks for your input, now that you mentioned it I tried and it's indeed getting boosted ~300ms. Will figure out something Quote
Splave Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 any way to have like a 5-10s count down where it locks your keyboard and mouse until the bench finishes Quote
Crew Vivi Posted October 9, 2012 Crew Posted October 9, 2012 congrats on WR! lol! i like this bench! Quote
IanCutress Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Change result from seconds to decimal points per second. That way we won't have the issue like with wP 32 getting down to silly numbers Quote
GENiEBEN Posted October 23, 2012 Author Posted October 23, 2012 it's slow algorithm used? I know, will make the leap to Chudnovsky but I don't want to rely on GMP/MPIR This is put on hold now as I have other stuff to finish first. Quote
Mafio Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Chudnovsky formula + binary splitting is the way to go. MPRI is an interesting project, too bad it doesn't include the assembly optimized for the latest CPUs (sandy/ivy and bulldozer). you should give it a try, it's pretty straightforward and easy to use.
