tiborrr Posted August 28, 2013 Share Posted August 28, 2013 After testing my memories on the GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-OC I came to conclusion that the ASRock board is fine, it's just my memories that are a bit worn out. They do 1200 8-12-8-28 but not a megahertz more. The booting issue is caused by the weak PCB. They boot 1.86-1.9V initially but fail to do so after a couple of minutes. These are low bin PSC (DDR3-1600 C6). The G.Skill Ripjaws 2300 C7 didn't have this problems. I always must do clear cmos to boot. And something else is strange, when i change something on bios, if the systems not fully shut down and start again, it can't ceep the changes.. It might save the core damaged chip , then u can bench 1~2 core only. With Vista it works fine, because under Win 7 i become an Error Access violation at adress 007014F8 in module AsrROC.exe New OS the same Problem, RAM G.skill Trident X 2400 CL9 or G.skill Pi 2300 CL7 or Corsair Dominator 2000 CL8 all the same.
