so far thad i know the only bios thad support the xeon " 55xx and 56xx " is a beta bios.and they thad i have contacted on ebay don't like to use/have beta bios.so the only option is to buy a supported cpu and flas the bios self.

i am searching for a cheap socket 1366 i7 cpu. no extreme versions its just for a bios update ' asus REX II ' for a not xeon support version to xeon support version. pm me or post here if you have somting

just for the fun i tried a combination whit the xeon x5690 and a xeon e5606. system boots , 2 cpu's detected but bleu screen in windows. i know its possibel to mix cpu's take a look at the 10x cpu wprime.but my be not a X whit a E version

thx,and can replay whit a ok it works now swapping back to the e5504 edit. i found an other problem whit the e5504. i submit a dual setup but its was plaset as singel setup. did need to edit it to dual setup

whit win 7 64bit the intel opencl is not working agen.but the amd is working i only need manuel enter the cpu

what can be wrong? 2.1 not working whit my skulltrail setup os is win 7 tiny 32bit. whil instal a normal 64bit os and report agen if its works or not.

so this meens a rookie can not use dual socket cpu's if the rules ar not alowing it? if so you can also exclude sli and xfire for the rookies. just my 2 censt

a person how start to participait on hwbot is alwaise a rookie. even if he/she start whit a dual , 4 or more socket system.he/she need a place to start and ther is the rookie league for the best thing thad masterpwnerbob can do is disabel points "if his cpu's ar from the new gen".i don't know how he/she have found the opteron es cpu's, i think ebay edit: the Opteron 6272 " Bulldozer microarchitecture " have a introduction date of november 14, 2011 so its a old gen and es from older gen can have points. the new gen ar 63xx opterons whit Piledriver microarchitecture and have a introduction date of somware in 2012
