Almost forgot, found it. Happy 1M benching Also had the 1104spi bios from "before" @ xs http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?206547-Asus-Rampage-Extreme-having-fun-with-MCH-Spi-under-Air-and-Cascade-coolings

only 1M as far as I know. I can take a look on my hdd when I get home.

215 euro is definitely not worth it. If it would be the Hailea 500 then maybe..

I know. Never heard of such a small chiller (low watt) but hey if you get it for a decent price I would try it out. Cause I completely agree with AC units being too big. Maybe someone else can give you a better estimate how it would perform.
-
Yea sure this idea has been used by chiller guys for a long time, converting window ac units to very powerful water chillers. However they usually have much more powerful rotary comps. There are a lot of builds in XS old chiller section, I'm surprised you've missed it? Reading here http://www.overclock.net/t/1412175/d-d-dc750-chiller seems that the model you are loking at are massively overspeced and actually only 1/4 HP. Depending on what you have to pay for it, might not be worth it. I think it won't reach -20 at all with such small comp. Not with any kind of decent load at least.
-
Hey Infra Temps is completely dependent on compressor size and gas. What you want is the biggest possible pretty much, I think best Hailea shipped with no more than ½ HP compressors and r134a. So in best case I'd say down to -20 maybe -25 but it will take a while to cool down a lot of water to that. Still, I'd buy it

Wow, super chip!

Lol awesome, not far from 7g with a sempron. That milestone was hard enough to reach with a real phenom How many chips have you binned? -
maybe do a vddq mod for mem? Could possibly help a little. Not sure there are any guides for it though.

Good job, figures 780 would do good even with AMD. -
Thanks Moose. As Tasos said, contact FM was a good idea too. Sometimes it's worth remembering FM is not a greedy big ass company - I got a key for good old 05 for free Allen @ FM is the guy to talk to.

Highest stable fsb for 24/7 use?
Calathea replied to Calathea's topic in Trinity / Piledriver / Richland OC
I'm not using onboard audio, but thanks for mentioning that option. It becomes a trade off here - high clocks OR working audio card, usb3 and wifi -
Highest stable fsb for 24/7 use?
Calathea replied to Calathea's topic in Trinity / Piledriver / Richland OC
136, 137, 138, 139 and 140 MHz = all will loose audio card after a few minutes. Dammit, haven't seen this stupid bios logic since s478. Hard lock pci-e to fsb seems so pointless. -
Highest stable fsb for 24/7 use?
Calathea replied to Calathea's topic in Trinity / Piledriver / Richland OC
Thanks guys. But, will this really mean pci-e frequency isn't tied to fsb when I set fsb = 140?
