  1. Nice to see people run dual cpu-systems! Now run it with proper verification (Cpu-z cpu/mem)
  2. Nice find. Not so many old batches available in sweden really. L310B4-B5, I would buy directly
  3. true, pentium seem to suck a bit compared to regular haswell. For air cooling it's tight.
  4. I would stay away from batch 3419B303 pentium ae... need to test more but seems no 5 GHz air and at least 1.3-1.35 volt for 4,6 GHz cinebench. This is the batch we have in sweden right now so I'll lay low
  5. Thanks Stasio! I have no drivers installed. I'll give it a try with the new ones you linked.
  6. Suzuki, what happened to your really good 4670? Sold it? I'm sure it's of no use to bin newer batches, wont find anything close to that chip.
  7. Nah, lowest I've seen sammies are cas 8. Maybe you can run 8-10-10 twcl 6 at 2133... what are you going to do, bench sandy or test ram?
  8. Hello. I know, I know... I shold be able to deal with this on my own but nope, I have problems getting my g3258 booting on Impact. following this guide and I should be able to get it working http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?48855-Must-Do-s-for-making-4790K-work-with-Maximus-VI-Motherboards BUT I cannot install "Intel Management Engine Interface V9.5.15.1730 for Windows 32/64bit 7 & 32/64bit 8 & 32/64bit 8.1.(WHQL)"... it simply gives me "one or more device drivers could not be installed" every time, on two different win7 64 os. I will probably try the same on VI Extreme tonight...
  9. Crazy chip you've gotten your hands on Roman. Care to share batch?
  10. Pentium 3419B303 here, both me and team mate The Mutt. Have no high hopes, but let's give it a shot another chip next weeek, bet it's same batch (though different store). We're both testing on asus z87.
  11. I have one G3258 coming, probably some time next-next week. Will report back here
  12. That they overclock like newer batches 4770 (bad)
  13. I'd like that too, just to see if rumors are true...
  14. Nice, fun test I've never been a fan of high twcl low cas, but maybe you can compensate with high freq.
  15. My bet is on the mobo It's very good ofc, but I've had mobos that didn't like sub zero what so ever before.
  16. Pci-e locked to fsb then, just as crappy fm2 that stuff kills ssd and hdd.

That is two mosfets removed. Basically making it a 7-phase vrm instead of default 8. They are D-Pak, easily replaced. Stock mosfets are AP85T03GH or a mix NIKOS P0903BDG + P75N02LDG. (I think it's P0903BDG in that position) Hope that helps...
  18. I'm pretty sure Intel know how to maintain their fab. Either way, this is an obvius sign of Intel relaxing when AMD is out of the game that's for sure
  19. Not often we see a decline in quality by time lol... Are Intel getting sloppy? Why would they not improve stepping like wolfdale C0-->E0, Nehalem C0-->D0 etc.
