i think i figured out my issue.... Note to all... put a piece of tape to cover the bottom socket hole on any Asus board... eliminates the risk of vaseline getting into the socket.. otherwise you will end up getting a nasty cb... I didnt realize it when benching for the HyperX contest and retested today..Lets just say I was bangīng my head alot for this and it would drive me nuts.... My chip had a cb that would go anywhere from -115 to -75...during the contest... Tested today.. the chip cb's at -132... Hope this helps someone else....

Any word on 290x modding?

Isn't there a limit on the r4e for mem voltage? I couldn't set over 1.92 volt on my board..

Can't agree more on this.. would have submitted a couple benches if I knew we needed some Also wish my cpu didn't die on that last 3d11 run.. would have had a 6ghz 1300/1500 run easily. . My 3 other cpus all had 5.6 limit and 1 decent imc.. the 2 other would score low for clocks... All around fun 4 way... Anybody know to submit to future mark when it shows up as u know error 15 with a saved result? Congrats aussies.. germans... and and Indonesia. . Great runs.. and wiz. . That cpu makes me totally jealous. Take good care of it.. it really sucks when you lose a great cpu. ...

figured 1.0.5 would be better.. just didnt get a chance to test.. my chips imc.. is horrible... flakes out and sometimes will getva decent run... then its a mess and get 01 startup issues.. really frustrating... ill have to do suicide runs tomorrow....

ran this with 1.01 3dmark11.. Had 01 issues after two runs at 5.8..chip can do 6ghz.. either imc is very weak or vrm issues.. barely benched.. noticed vrm screws were not torqued down at all and might have had weak contact.. fixed that and ran with 2nd chip.. only 5.6ghz max.. going to test again with the 6ghz chip.. ill pickup ln2 tomorrow for 4 way.. ill test 1.05 when i figure out the cpu issue first.. the low score could be from memory on the gpus.. will test that too.. if i didnt get cpu issues.. would have been able to test gpus more.. bummed abput that.. more to come...

Nacho.. what do you mean by newer? Stepping? Mem type makes a big difference and good memory also.. i score about 17300 4.5 2600 psc. Which comes to 21900 @6ghz.. r4be of course..

my 2 best cards died.. 1700 elpida on air and 1725 hynix .. My other cards arent bad.. have 2 replacements coming..hopefully they will do well.. going to keep checkng my board... 00 with multiple chips... tought it was really funny you posted this while iwas gunning for it.. great job though..
