I think with you guys in MOA it wasn't just having similar clocks, but rbuass had mentioned how it was almost impossible to get a 7970 lightning in Brazil at the time & he had to fight to get one. When you posted a score with a lightning as well it was like 'hey, wait a minute...'. Don't think anyone doubted rbuass, but it made people wonder where your lightning might have come from. The whole livestream thing might have been overkill, but nobody says anything about it afterwards so it did the job & sealed the deal.

I haven't had CB or CBB with the 680L yet, although haven't gotten much colder than -60 or so. A few minutes after I start pouring I keep running into issues with driver crashing whenever it switches power states. I can get to desktop every time but just can't get any benching done on it yet. I'll have to see about the new bios, constant p0 state sounds like it will fit the bill.

Easy way to be top 10 in Pro League

He also does freeze things & overclock too, he may get a lot of boints running things at stock, but that isn't all he's about. This thread should be left to die peacefully. -

Very nice indeed, great clocks man! Hwbot could use a jaw-drop smiley... -
Congrats guys, & good luck to all 3 of you in Taiwan!

Indeed Splave did great work all around, total domination. Congrats man!

I'm still trying, should be able to improve in 03, but so near & yet so far without a great 3d11 score. Card just doesn't want to play nice going over 1500 core.

Hopefully there aren't too many sandbagging, z77-gd55 just went to hardware heaven & no other msi boards on hand to play with today.
-
No ln2 for me until Thursday, hopefully early in the day before it's over & I get knocked down 20 places. But still no MSI x79 board in sight, will likely get my ass kicked in 3d11. But still fun to try...

Yep, just gotta get yourself similar systems, overclock a tiny bit & those points are yours. If dhenzjhen wants them back, he'll have to OC for it. Simple. -
When a score has no points -> Force recalculation
FtW 420 replied to Massman's topic in Submission & member moderation
Don't think so, I just tried to recalculate one I subbed a few days ago, no luck yet. -

FtW 420 replied to Massman's topic in Submission & member moderation
This is a teammates new score/submission: http://hwbot.org/submission/2266660_ But his old score which was blocked http://hwbot.org/submission/2265220_ can't be deleted, recalculating isn't letting him get boints for his new sub. -

Looks like my scores will stand as they are, got some ln2 but the 1090t appears to be dead & I don't have any other AMD chips that will beat the scores I have in here already. -

I think everyone starts off with air/water, but then if you want to keep up & keep improving you pretty much have to get colder (that's why I started freezing stuff, it is a little disappointing to be doing well in a comp then get blown out of the water when the extreme coolers put up scores). Another option would be to have a competition with separated enthusiast/xtreme league rankings, but then that would need double the prizes, or split things up, like ud7 for winner of extreme, ud5 for winner of enthusiast, ud3 for random among both or something. I'm sure most of us do this because we enjoy it, & would compete whether there are prizes or not, although prizes are nice & do give some more incentive to push harder. -
