Unlucky to card, I just received some abnormal zombies for my usage. I was not sure where to apply them first, but when I got 590, everything became clear to me. Вообщем, вы поняли... Took card, removed IHS, installed two "EVGA The Untouchables" for GPU's, made dirty stuffs for card (vaseline both sides, KFLEX), installed two secret Kingpincooling.com TEK9 GEMINI's, and fired monster up! All is LIVE at livestream.com/evga_oc (recorded now ) Voltage modification for memories performed second day, just same as on your trusty GTX 580 reference, same APW7088 PWM controllers, same pin 13 FB signal. 1600 ohm on FB = 1720mV on memory Oceans all over. That's after straight non-stop 6 hour runnin 03. Vaseline helps, but f(l)ucken awful to handle card/solder things on it. HATE IT, BUT NEED IT! Voltage on GPUs droop like crazy, unbeatable specifics of external VRM PCBs. 1.2-1.25V under load, in idle 1.55-1.65. It's physics, when taking current more than 300A with such low voltage. System specs used for 198k: Intel Core i7 2600K @ 5673MHz Kingpincooling.com VENOM LN2 Container EVGA P67 FTW 2GB Corsair DGT C7 EVGA GeForce GTX 590 + 2 x EVGA The Untouchables 0.1 Kingpincooling.com TEK9 GEMINI 1200W PSU (один) For rest runs (first day) Intel Core i7 2600K @ 5488MHz Kingpincooling.com F1 EE LN2 Container EVGA P67 FTW 2GB Corsair DGT C7 EVGA GeForce GTX 590 + 2 x EVGA The Untouchables 0.1 Kingpincooling.com TEK9 GEMINI 1200W PSU (один) Next to do: fix issues, new benchmarks, in 03, 05, AQ with sandy and 06, Vantage, 11 on SR2 + 2x5690. Maybe next weekend. Tweaks for 3Dmarks are welcome, I'm quite lame at software tweaking

will be field for a serial nr. Useless, until we have mechanism to track hardware s/n by software, like CPU-Z CPUID or CPU name instruction read. Those who want cheat - will cheat no matter if serial number field will be implemented or not, just more headache to honest overclockers. +1 Vote to CPU-Z Globals. 7G is 7G, no matter if it's gulfy or cedary, it's all about raw frequency, not about performance. We can use different rankings per core amount for example, as we have for wPrime etc. cedars will go 1xCPU rank then, amd's will go 2xcpu 3xcpu , etcetcetc. Also country rankings give E404. +1 To more compact design too , please. Love the hwbotie logo in R4.

LGA1155 facts, stats and list of mainboards
TiN replied to Massman's topic in Sandy Bridge (P67/Z68) OC
Well, 5.1 or 7.1 it's all doesn't matter much, both are sux in a way of having ac97 codec. As for PS/2, I think anyone now can afford USB keyboard for 5$, no? It's like complaining about not having ISA or LPT port on new boards. I have few LPT devices, like firmware flashers etc, so what, I should ask vendors to keep LPT for 20 years more, just because 0.0001% of users still have something legacy? Making statements based on pictures, is like putting a medical diagnose by looking at patient passport photo p.s. I wonder which vendor will first name new board with "somevendor name BEST-BOARD.EVA. edition" -
