  1. Just messing around before taking it cold. I'll lower down on the volts and see where I can get
  2. Sounds like you need to find some way to lower the clocks after you've booted!
  3. Geekbench is a pretty good memory benchmark but you're right... for the most part this isolates the CPU and makes it just a memory and tweaking benchmark.
  4. Yeah that's what I'm talking about. If you want to work out a deal for just one of those brackets (they're rarely used), send me a PM!
  5. But then all current results are invalid and scores will likely be slower as well.
  6. Yep, you need 1.73! Shoot New a PM with validation info and he should be able to do it for you.
  7. Perhaps Like any other benchmarks?
  8. Do these have the bracket that allows you to mount a sandwich-style GPU?
  9. You are a good man. Seems HWBot has added the ability to give rep so you got some!
  10. Thanks! As you can see in the image, it's down a phase too lol. Really a champ of a board.
  11. The card has a switch on the back to disable OCP, so that's thrown. Those drivers for pre-testing because on is the latest and the other was just one I had already! I've not heard of Thermspy. I'll try lowering mem to stock and just pushing core.
  12. Using 275.33 and 355.60 the GPU will throttle when I go above ~1050 GPU core on water. Load temperatures are staying below 40°C. I've testing with just the voltages applied and a lower clock and at that point it's fine. However, when trying higher than 1050, it will get stuck at 405MHz switching from 2D to 3D clocks. Voltage is about 1.325V on the core. I'm also using NVidia PowerMizer Manager and have disabled the low power states. Any ideas?
  13. Haven't tried going back. I'll put that on this evening and report back.
  14. So this has been driving me crazy recently. Two major issues which are a pain in the ass. Using latest extreme BIOS, X08. First, the board hates my SSD. 75% of the time it hangs on A2. I have to keep hitting reset until it finally detects the SSD. This happens on BIOS F8d as well but doesn't happen on any other board (P5E3, REX, MVII Impact, X58A-OC). Second and more annoying... the board will randomly start failing to boot. 4.8GHz is 100% stable... it can run stress tests all day and be happy but randomly it will fail to boot. It goes through the boot cycle like normal and then pauses on 62 for a bit longer than normal and will change to 64 and then crash. It will reset one more time before finally allowing me into the BIOS and giving a Boot Failed message. At this point I can sometimes reset and get the clocks to stick. Other times, however, it will just continue to fail over and over again and I'll have to switch to the other BIOS (F8d) which seems not to exhibit this trait. Any ideas? Anyone else getting this? Any chance at an X09 BIOS?
  15. Looks like W10 is the way to go!
  16. Great! Can we get an official announcement of the sort?
