    Apparently the 7GHz valid was done with a QE6H or QEH6... The first seems to follow the naming convention but I'm not sure. The 4670K that I've used is a QE6V, so that's correct.

    It's MSI. They're the only ones still doing POSCaps around the socket these days. They also do the white lines coming out from the socket and you can see the top of the chokes is blurred since they have the raised logos and lettering, which is also fairly unique to MSI. Here's a close-up of the Z77A-GD65:

    I remember seeing a video in the past on how to remove the soldered IHS from a CPU... They placed the CPU face down on a frying pan and heated it until the solder began to melt... then they applied some pressure and pulled it off. You may be able to do this in reverse (i.e. secure IHS to CPU and set it IHS-side down on a frying pan.
