  1. mais c'te farceur Dx . Lache rien Nxxo, tu vas finir par trouver
  2. Now I will try to put these baby on GTX 295 PCB Guide is great I find a mistake : "For example, if the current applied voltage is 1.200 V and the +200 mV switch is changed to the ON position, the output voltage will immediately become 1.300 V." I don't understand : K. Remote voltage sense inputs *NYI What is this ? And don't understand why there is 6 channel for hotwire ? even if you said to use 1 and 4, why 4 channel ?
  3. My 2 cent : 24h is too short. That's what happened to us : No french overclocker had CPU + MB + VGA for this round. So I gave my motherboard to Strategos San 2-3 days before the last stage, and He had to bench for country cup last stage. Hardware was OK, but when stage started, 290x died in a minute.... Some guys has 290x, but NO FX Some guys has FX but NO AMD vga... Strategos San home is 500km far from mine, in 24h we can't plan anything. In 24h we can't buy hardware (delivery is too long and no shop on the street for this kind of hardware, only online shop). The only solution we find was to ask Dane to come to my place with his motherboard, and to use my 280x... but 280x is not good enough to compete, and no time to used it under cold. We tried to mount pot 30 minutes before the end, with no insulation, but it was to wet, and VGA stopped working after 5 minutes... Anyway it was already too late. fortunately we still managed to be 2nd at the end, BUT if we lose Country cup due to 24h stage (no hardware = no score = out) we will be pissed off.... We all spend a lot of money/time to do our best. It will be unfair to lose this way If you still want "24h round", it could be possible BUT try to choose common hardware ( for exemple intel cpu.... I love AMD, but no one used it... so if you have trouble and only 24h you are f**k up. We have family life / job.... 24h is too short. It could be really nice if you are "free", but if you have to take day off or cancel travel for benching . I asked strategos San to do last round without me, I had already spent too much time doing overclocking for this CC (not good for son / wife). And at the end I had to tell my wife she had to go without me cause we had trouble on last stage. *********** Otherwise it was a nice CC, low clock , rookie, 3d, 2d Number of stage/ submission was also good
  4. australia was far too good, no chance for other country . Well done guys, you deserve it, and no need to sandbag when you are above everyone . @Romania and Indonesia : It was nice battle, nice to see you every years on top. We run out of luck for last stage, 290x died without any reason, it was alive for FSU, and dead when we plug it for last round...
  5. Thanks guys. It take me one day for this... After 3.06Ghz every step is really hard to get. CPU don't like cold, CBB@-10°C
  6. I already have a 5min backup with kabini . Good job to all : It was a nice round to watch. Nice but frustrating to wasn't be able to join
  7. Output current monitoring Love this
  8. Exactly V1 is also great, but need time to mount it. And every time you have to apply/clean TIM on IC... that's boring. V2 is great and easy to use
  9. Like this one ? http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=80504 Trust me, you don't need copper. Heat spreader are really thick so it's as good as cooper, and without thermal interface between pot and HS you have "same" T° everywhere. This kind of pot with cooper will be TOO heavy... then you will need to much LN2 to cool it down, and to much time to heat it up in case of CB/CBB -------- I make it for FUN, to used pot I made on my own. It take me 4-5 hour to make one piece with manual milling machine + need to buy tool... It will be really expensive, and I won't be allowed to use machine if I sell product, I'm only allowed to use it one or two time a year. This is not my job With CNC I think it will be really fast to produce it, but I don't have access to this.
  10. Action : I have tested only 6 different stick (3kit) since I have it - Corsair KIT#1, best stick -> 2157Mhz on M6I ( a friend kill it some month after this screen ) - Kingston best stick -> 2080Mhz on M6I (reviews on cold http://www.cowcotland.com/articles/1581/wizerty-oc-memoire-kingston-hyperx-predator-2800-c12.html ) - New Corsair KIT#2, best stick -> 2155Mhz on z97x soc force LN2 link will be update
