Hi, I need some space... I sell my Z77 rig. (4770k rig will come soon with 8pack CPU ) Maximus 5 extreme. it's ready for cold but also really easy to clean if needed. CPU is really good. -single thread : Before delid core0 was 7Ghz superpi 1M (Don't know now didn't test) -multithread : I used the cpu this week for multi thread bench with thermal grizzly kryonaute. XTU : 6.4Ghz+ CBr15 : 6.4Ghz Wprime 32M : 6.56Ghz+ Hwbot prime : 6.58Ghz+ This CPU is good, and I swear it can bench at least at those frequency, BUT it's not easy to handle it. If you are looking for click and run CPU don't buy this one. I don't want any complain because you can't reach 6.4 the first attempt. When you know it well 6.4 XTU is 1st run. I don't have time to read it all (16pages) but my 2cents : if 1st have 200pt and 2nd have 190pt then why pushing for 1st place ? being first is an hard fight, you should be reward by more than 10 extra point 200pt for global and 50 for hardware = too much global maybe more hardware point would be nice to reward people that bench more, 30x 50pt instead of 20 x50pt. One more time, if "you" want point, you need to deserve it. If 10th have almost as many point as 1st it's not normal. no pain no gain

I tried mine today. Card can do : 1510 FSE stock cooler (LN2 bios) 1520 FSE with AIO (LN2 bios) 1750 FSE 1.55v 1850 FSE 1.65v 1900 FSE @1.7v (load) -100°C Lowering T° to -110 and thing get worst. Mem is Hynix. I get 8800 stable with 1.75v few minute, then 8600 for hours, and then in 20seconde I loose 300MHz and had to bench 8250 or less.

For those who want to try to help BUT don't have Roman spacer, you can try with paper sheet . Easy to cut, cheap and you can use paper even with black glue. Classic paper is less than 0.1mm so if you want more can use more sheet or find high quality paper. I didn't try but it should works Great idea Roman

Seems to be good advice, I experience exactly same behavior. I can boot easely (when i'm not stuck in 55-41 loop ) but then -> "not exact" after init loop with 1800c17 @1.95v or 1900c12 @1.75.... final I tryed to start again from clear bios, all timing auto and rise frequency up to 3800 and find that memory failed due to voltage. After 1.67v it stop benching. It's Os stable but can't run 32M

@Nik : You can't compare 2chip. Pentium or Celeron can't reach 8G, and after many CPU, someone find @8Ghz chip... 8G is not easy, but then, someone find 8.2 chip, and then 8.4 chip... Same with all generation, REALLY good ivy did 7Ghz cpu-z, and then someone find 7Ghz+ 32m and 7.1 1M... same with haswell vivi got golden cpu, then Dancop find GEM... If you can run 5.2, some chip can probably run 5.3
