Thanks all! Agreed Wiz, eye candy is so much nicer Nice to have something to look at when comparing runs with others. Will rerun this with memory on cold. This was on a Z77 install, with 150+ windows updates since that was the only thing that seemed to make XTU start the benchmark process, so nothing super optimized, just vanilla W7 SP1 which imho seems stronger than W8.1

I am not cutting up a cherry REX, that's what the disposable P45 board is for lol X48 will not work with 5000 series Xeons only 3000 series, though I have seen some one on X48 make it work with a X5470 (quad). E8600 batches I have atm: Q850A074 Q842A213 L016A830 Will be giving them a try shortly

I have a bnib REX and quite a few E8600's sitting here Sam, just too lazy to insulate the REX lol and I have a bunch of X5260's left to test
