Awesome efficiency

I was wondering a long time why vendors didn't use plastic spray for ln2 boards...

Why is it not good for the community?
Fermi is out of production. Who *REALLY* cares about people who overclock old cards?
This bug/feature limits OC (good for nVidia) and makes Kepler look better (good for nVidia)
I mean it's bad for OC community, I don't bench mostly old hardware, but a lot of ocers does
Sometimes new drivers are a bit better than old ones...

Does anyone has contacts in Nvidia to ask about it? Cause if it's purpose action, it's not good for community.

Yap, that's why until new patch, new 3dmark should be banned.

Or just a big glob of solder, yeah?
Yap, it will also do the work
-
I think it's not necessary, but not sure though. But reconnecting it can be done with a tiny cable
-
Good to know
But for me it's easier to cut trace then remove controller, and trying to solder it in the future

This fight is epic
what can I say?
You are one of the best ocers ever Ronaldo

Thanks
Hehe but some of us are going to unmod cards after benching
We don't need to reconnect trace to make card work @ stock VRM, resoldering NCP controller will be hard, especially for me. But I think that you connected your own VPLL from Gpower to card? You have to remember that Epower has only VGPU/VMEM. We need to cut pin2 trace to force vgpu controller to be ON and to have VPLL on GPU. I don't know if card will have VPLL without VGPU controller.
Soon I will upload more pictures with updates. So far I got @ 1600 GPU @ 1.5-1.52v, CBB -80*C, CB 150*C, but I have problems with higher voltages. I am working on solving this problem

New 3DMark patch will correct a bunch of actual bugs that have been uncovered while we worked on the multi-GPU issues. Not quite ready with it but it is coming soon-ish.
Haven't tested multi gpu, but the biggest problem are runs with high mhz (max or almost max) @ln2 (on 7970 and I guess on other AMD cards) when scores are bugged (200-300 points higher than it should be). New 3DMark would be great if there weren't bugged runs, more unstable - higher score (of course bugged run happens once per 5-20 times). I think simply some of effects aren't rendered correctly...

I hope that in new 3DMark patch will eliminate bugged (higher) scores...

Maybe if you could create also support for FX cpus it would be more supported. It's sad and very understandable from your part and I wish you the best.
