HIWA's shared/sold scores needs to be removed...
Monstru replied to Jor3llBR/Elano's topic in Submission & member moderation
Hiwa did not manage to take away nothing from nobody, he was caught using somebody elses score. This, in my eyes, is not as worst as cheating, and actually getting away with it... And no, I do not believe all Hiwa's submisions are tainted, nor is he the worst. -

Guys, before you go there remember that it's not only the hardware but also how you clock it. In the recent days I have seen that there are still a lot of things to learn about Gulftown overclocking, for instance I am capable now to push 6,3 out of chips that never gone beyond 6,1 before, and I am sure there is more to it. So don't blame Andre if he can get 6,1 Vantage out of that batch and somebody else is stuck at 5,85 or smth like that. -
Achievements - What do you want?

Hey, hey, hey, what is up here? First of all - very nice one Andre, I knew it was only a matter of time since the real retail monsters will be discovered. You got the resources and the skills needed for that, so I am really happy to see a useless debate (ES beeing better then retail) ended. From my humble knowledge, all Intel chips since Conroe are way better in retail then ES. I am talking about E6600, E6850, E8400, E8600, QX9650, i920, i975, W3580, i670, and now finnaly i980X retail monster appears to put an end to all this arguing about ES. You did a great job on this one Andre, and I am sure we will see even more impressive things from you and this CPU soon (CPU-Z > 7GHz maybe?). Second - Bill...you make me sad man. Why so nervous man? I know you have a strong opinion about things, and I know that after a long time people can get enough and can get a little bit jumpy about things, but that doesn't mean we have to loose out trust and respect man. Please bro, think about this... -
I don't know if it is just me, but I come home for ~ 2 weeks travel and hussle with Computex, and I find HWBot divided into all sorts of threads regarding pro leagues, ES, non ES disputes, hardware sharing and all that, and I find this really weird. I think constantly impproving something is a great road to perfection. One should be carefull though, too many drastic changes might not have the same effect

Arghhhh...you overtook me by 15MHz, I don't think I like you very much =))

Thank you Petri! I would love to do these tests even at 5GHz on SS, but most of my readers would complain that it would not be relevant for them, so I found a nice compromise -

I have to study that more. Now I am dazed and confused, I just finished iwth 2 weeks of testing, and now writing, so I am taking a short break -

Well I also have problem with only a few Intel Core results beeing seen, while I have dozens of them, and the same thing with ATI and Nvidia. If my card has a manufacturer, if I do not put Nvidia there, I only have 15 ATi results and 15 Nvidia results, while, obviously I have much more of both -
Just what the overclockers needed

Hey fellows, I know quite a few results have been posted lately with UD9, so I am not going to discover anything extraordinary with my 5,6GHz i980X "champ". However, even if some results have been shown, and some forum sneak peaks have been done, I though that a more "official" preview would not hurt anybody. So I did a nice, clean preview on our website. You might be asking what the heck is so interesting about that. Yeah...I forgot to mention...I did a small "4 x GTX 480 on Gigabyte UD9" preview on our website. Now it sounds more interesting, doesn't it? :yepp: Anyway, the 4WAY SLI is not the main focus here, I am preparing a massive 1,2,3,4 GTX 480 vs 1,2,3,4 HD5870 article that will be up soon and there I will have lots of numbers about this. The most interesting part is that now 4WAY SLI can be done on other mainboards, not just EVGA 4WAY SLI and SR2. If you want to read the full story, you can use Google Translator. If not, here's some UD9 pics and some 3SLI and 4SLI numbers for you
