Why doesnt this result participate in stage3 of SC4 of the Team Cup ?

This morning i changed the CPU to an unlocked G3258.
Out of nowhere , the preset memory profiles appeared.
That's why i didnt have them earlier ?
Cause of a non k cpu ?
Also
My PSC ram is working as expected , with this cpu.
@same voltage (1.82volt) and almost same settings as in Z77 and X79

Put back the normal Pentium and you will have your question answered .
Yeap confirmed , they dont appear with the G3240.

Same batch here. Will test next week.we all have the same batch
It seems that these Pentium G3258 have the same batch all over Europe.
3418C008 up to C013 here in Athens.

Simple thing.
E.S. ARE MADE FOR INDOOR TESTING
They are not meant to hit the public.
They belong inside the labs and should stay there.
Why should i be in the same ranking category with an E.S. result ?
Is that considered fair ?
They usually (not always) carry an advantage over the retails.
Most of the times is good binning or better thermal behaviour.
It's not only a CPU matter.
There are plenty other hardware with advantage.
Example = RAM
The super WOW ram modules binned by the factories for a specific event , or even special made modules with chosen one by one memory chips , made to hit the TOP.
That special product competes with POINTS.
It's not only the top place or world record that satisfies them ... they also want points for it.
To be fair.
Some people have the honesty to disable points.
Some others dont.
They want points for them and their team.

Rank them in a separate category by their own , period.

Nothing has been resolved in regards to sponsorship or specialty hardware/software. You're going right back to the days when a handful of privileged guys ruled everything.
FWIW, I have no dog in this race. I bench for entertainment, what I want, when I want. I'm just trying to understand what you're trying to accomplish.

Read this topic and was surprised by behavior of that board. I would return it back if I were you. Such many problems isn't great for new and expensive board.
As soon as there is new stock in the shops here , i'll make the change.
But for the time beeing , i'll keep it and "fight" with it.

Tasos train your memory at 2400 8-12-8 then reboot set mem multi at 2600 with fast boot enable...
that should do the trick,
That's exactly how i do it.
But everytime i change the multi to 2600 , it stucks at C0 for a few seconds , then it shuts down and restarts in safe mode.
I need to test with a different cpu , i cant think of anything else.
Why CFR and samsung are so easy ... and PSC are so strict ?

Hi,I would also use X04 bios for memory overclocking,gives you a little more freedom on rtl settings and is the one that I think is better suited for PSC at this time

I have already used it.
Still , the best i could do on PSC , was 2400 8-11-7-28 1T.
I suspect that is caused , by the lack of straps.
I'm on 100 only.

Do we have anykind of changes about current ES hardware usage ?

Current generation of ES hardware is allowed to receive points ???

Download application from play store, connect it to your hwbot account (check last tab in app, might be able to sign up if no account already exists) once it's connected, run the benchmark. It'll upload each run as you go along.

I need a step by step guide for novice users , on how to run and submit results from an android device.

I would not use the memory profiles as none of them work for me, just set it by hand and be sure to set each channel's settings individually.
That's how i do it till now.
I'm experimenting my settings on advanced manual mode.
I still dont have the memory profiles available , even in F7a beta bios.
I dont have a "k" cpu and i suspect that this is the reason why.
For the same reason (i think) , i dont have all the straps available , so i'm kind of limited in options , untill the retail k series cpu hit the market.

Reporting back.
Updated bios to F7a beta.
O/C buttons working +/- (both full steps and decimal) but the Gear button doesnt light-up when activated.
Is that considered ok ?
